New Vaper from utah!

Hello everyone. I'm Rob from utah and I have been hit quickly with vaping. I've been a smoker for the better part of 11 years. Although my wife thinks I quit six months ago. I've had a hard time with giving it up. Yesterday I bought a eGo twist with a iClear 16 clearomizer and haven't felt the urge for a cigarette since! I am already planning on drip tips and other gear to buy.

A couple years ago I tried njoy and Blu honesty I didn't really enjoy them and only used them between cigs. There's a shop locally with a good selection of flavors that I'm excited to try more. Tried coffee first which had a great full body. I'm less impressed with a Swedish fish flavor that people were raving about and still have menthol to try. I bought 15ml of each but I want to try more. I've already learned a ton from here and I know my wife is going to hate this newest "hobby"

Welcome to ECF, and congrats on making the switch. I've seen a few of us from Utah. Which B&M store did you find? We have several in ole SLC.

I went to Salt Lake Vapors. I knew I wanted the eGo twist to start and that they had it. Honestly didn't show me too much like how I should clean the clearomizer. But I believe their recommendation on the iClear was a good one. Are there any other shops with good juice? Possibly in smaller than 15 ml sizes since I like to try things out.

Welcome to ECF, I am stuck. . . I mean I live in Utah too. I really enjoy electronic stix customer service and they give me a discount because of where I work so its a win/win. If you want to try some really good and cheap juice I recommend Mount Baker Vapor. I ordered 4 - 5mil bottles from them for $24 shipped and with order over $16 they send a sample 15 mil bottle (you can tell them what flavor you want for the sample). Ordered on Wednesday and received it this morning. I do want to check out SLC Vapors one of these days, I do hear their juice is pretty good but MBV will get my business for a while. Your wife will understand when she realizes its much healthier and you don't smell like smoke all the time. Good luck, man.

Thanks. I didn't think I'd like the sweeter flavors. Hence coffee for my first which got a strange look from the salesperson. But I am enjoying the Swedish fish although it tastes a little weak. Maybe slightly burnt as well. But I'll have to do some thorough cleaning.

If you are getting burnt taste yep try a cleaning also with the twist

Start at the lowest voltage it will do and slowly increase it until you get a hint of burnt then back it down. Different juices like different voltages.

I just discovered that actually. The coffee I loved at about 4.4 but this one tastes better around 3.5. I still have to find the sweet spot. I was a menthol smoker so I love the throat hit. Without that vaping wouldn't stick for me.

my 2 cents...i new to vaping, but have had real good luck with Mount baker Vapors. 15 mil bottle goes for 5$.

excellent juices, try: T Razz, solar flare, afternoon delight. all excellent. AND they ship the same day most of the time!!

Awesome. I am reluctant to order online only because I prefer instant gratification of buying in a store. I'm sure once I get more settled most of the juice I buy will be online orders and ill certainly keep mount baker in mind.
