Hi all, my name is Kevin.
My first experience with e-cigs was Blu. I only bothered with those for about 2 days before giving up on my $80 investment. They just didn't do it for me. Well, I had all of my wisdom teeth taken out a week or so ago and the dentist told me not to smoke for at least 4 days. 4 DAYS! I may as well quit! So I did. And in my ensuing insanity, I turned again to vapor for relief. I bought a menthol flavored MISTIC e-cig from my local wally world, but it turns out that they don't carry the carts for them. Next it was a METRO from the gas station. Worked well enough, but I went through 2 fully charged batteries and 3 carts today before noon. I stopped at Unique Cigs and bought a KGO-VV, dual coil atomizer, and tank style cart, as well as 10ml bottles of Menthol, RedBull, and Peach juice on my way home. So far I'm pretty satisfied. Any thoughts from you guys/gals would be much appreciated.

Hoping I'm going places with this!
Kevin

You are definately going in the right direction! I would recommend another battery so you have one to vape while the other one is charging. If it lasts you all day that wont be a problem. My guess is that although the kgo vv is a good battery, its vv option will eat up the power a little quicker so you might need a second one to vape while the other is on charge Dont know what you paid for the kgo, but hoosierecig.com has them on sale for 24.99 right now. Good choice on vaping, if you dont like what you have, check out all the new stuff thats out now, the vivi nova and mini vivi nova tanks are about the top all-around performers right now, id highly reccomend trying one.

You are heading in the direction most of us started at. It starts with some form of mini that looks at least a little like a cig, then you get to the ego size batteries, and you're like omg that's so much better. Then you start reading all the information on this site, start watching video reviews, and buy your first mod or apv and find out what you've been missing ;) welcome to the forums.

You are heading in the right direction. Would have been best if you skipped everything and started with a kgo. I would try out a vivi nova and a cartomizer tank if I was you. Surevapes is a good site for them and they ship free. Eventualy you may want to invest in a variable voltage tube mod with an 18650 battery for extended life between charges. Good luck!

You are doing a lot better than I did! Sounds like you are well set up and as long as you stay away from the threads with the pictures of people's set ups, you should be fine for a long while. Just remember that you will need a back up "just in case" you find yourself without a working e-cig, and that goes for the juice also. Last night I had my first catastrophe, and had I left the house with only one I would have been in trouble.

Congrats on giving up the cigarettes, and WELCOME to ECF.

Hi, Kevin. Sounds like you're doing good. You are definetly further along in your journey than I am. I'm waiting for my very first PV to get here. On another note.......you say it's been a week since you had your wisdom teeth taken out and the doctor had told you not to smoke. It's not the chemicals and such in cigarettes, it's the "pulling" on the cigarette that he wants you to avoid same as drinking from a straw or vaping. The "pulling" causes the.....gawd, for lack of a better word.....clot to come out from the spot where the tooth used to be, which will cause dry socket. I can tell you from experience (I didn't follow Dr's orders and smoked) that it is extremely painful and requires constant packing of clove soaked gauze into the void. Anyway, I hope that didn't gross anyone out. Kevin, if you've made it a week vaping after surgery and haven't been affected you should be in the clear.

I went from a Blu, to a KGO, and now have a Vamo with a Vivi Nova. Wish I could've skipped the other stuff because I love my Vamo, but everyone has to find their own way.

I did watch PBusardo's review, and loved it. I especially liked how he compared it to other much more expensive mods. It stacks right up there!

Tibby, I really wish I had started with my KgoVV. Would've been $80 cheaper, AKA another whole KgoVV kit. I really love my 3.5ml tank, and my main concern is that all of the tankomizers and clearomizers like the vivi seem to leak. I use my VV in many positions and set it down often so spilling my juice is of great concern to me.

I couldn't make it but maybe a day and a half before I started vaping. My dentists did a horrible job and I ended up with dry socket and an abcess I didnt have before. And that was before vaping. 13 or 14 days now with but one drag off an analog and don't hardly miss it but at work where everyone's a chimney.

I love my KGO VVs. I use them with Vivi Novas (mini and standard, air hole on 510 connector) and Vision Eternity at home. I don't any complaints at all. Good luck!

Another question for you nice folks. Does ViVi make a tank that is almost exactly the same size around as my KgoVV? The tank I have sits flush and I love it.

Yes. It's called the Mini Vivi Nova and it holds 2.5 ml. of juice. It takes the same replaceable heads as the normal-sized Viva Nova. Also, some juices are plastic unfriendly. You can get anodized aluminum replacement tubes for both the normal and mini sizes of Vivi Novas to use with those.
