Hi everyone,

Got off the cigs on the 1st Dec 2013 and used all the good advice from here to get myself setup.
I wasnt looking to save money (Tabacco is cheap in Japan), but wanted to be healthy and not stink all the time.

As soon as my EVOD kit arrived from Heavens Gifts along with Hangseng and Dekang juice, I charged up and whilst charging I went around the house and threw out all of my cigarettes, ashtrays and lighters.

Havent had a cheat cig since, even when out drinking which I thought was going to be the hardest time. Started out with nic 18mg of juice, but I didnt know what it was supposed to taste like or vape like but was enjoying the experience. Went down to 11mg on my next juice order and started playing with different ohm coils in the EVOD with the VV and getting better taste and vapor.

I bit the bullet and got myself the VTR and the iClear30s, and a BIG order of Killer Juice (300 ml) and HOLY ****!!!
VAPE HEAVEN!!

I am glad I started on the EVODs as they were simple and work well, but now I know what a real mod is like I am blown away by the vapor production and taste. I suppose the next step will be a mech mod, but for the moment I am super happy with what I have and I certainly feel healthier and smell alot nicer...

Thanks to all the posters here I managed to get myself off cigs and get a good setup in a country notorius for smoking, where the availibility of mods/attys and juice is almost non existant. Nic juice is illegal to sell in Japan, but we can import for personal use.

Looking forward to adding to the wealth of information here in the future...

Cheers,:)

Nice to see a fellow member from Japan. Yeah it's a shame about the limited availability here in Japan but like you say having online vendors is a help.

Did you have any trouble with customs getting that 300ml of juice through? How much did you pay for shipping on your order?

I think I have a few cheat cigs somewhere.... wait.. I think.... Maybe I don't.. I thought I had a pack somewhere. Might be a year old pack... ever opened, still sealed.... Well, can't find it... nevermind. :) Welcome to the forum!!!!

Hrm.. Japan has no Ecig shops... could be a possible income. :)

Stick with what you have. But, if you get a mech mod, get four GOOD 30 amp batteries.. don't bother with anything lower than 30 amps.

I had no issues bringing in 300 ml of juice and it looked like it wasn't even opened.
I did notice that killer juice had put " merchandise" and "flavorings" on the description.
Came via USPS First Class International Mail and took about 2 weeks to arrive. KJ has a flat rate of $11 usd for international, that's why I stocked up.

I have found some Japanese online vendors here that have some decent gear, but as you know no nic juice. For high end mods, check out Vaporcone and I have used The Vape Shop as well and they were very good to deal with.

Welcome to the forum! You started out with a good setup.

When anyone asks me what to start with, I usually recommend the Evod. It's not bad, easy to use, and they aren't out a lot of money if they don't like it. If they like it, their stuff will be compatible with most everything else they upgrade to, and they will still have the ego battery to take out and about, or use when they are charging their new stuff.
