new vaper just sayin hi

My husband and I bought ecigs several days ago for the first time. We bought the only brand available in our little town. The brand is Gold Vapor. I dont think its a superior product and I will be upgrading soon. I am going to search the forum to see what sites and brands are best. I am looking for more vapor and a nice throat hit. The ecig I use seems to get hot quickly and burns my throat. I dont use the liquids - just the flavored cartridges. I took my ecig out on the town with me last nite and had at least 5 people want to try it and then want to know where to get one. I love this so much better than smoking - no stink, no burn holes, no smoke, no cancer! But I do want a better product. I am willing to use the liquids if it provides a better experience.

I don't know if this is the problem or not but if you are using cartomizers (atty and cart in one) you might want to think about filling them as they may have been a bit dry when you got them, hence the burning throat thing, they are really easy to fill and might make a difference for you also same thing could apply to carts (cartridge and atty seperately)

If it makes you feel any better, most of us don't stick to the same model we start off with....whether it's cartomizers, 510, blu (all lingo you'll know after reading the forums a bit).

Hi and thanks for the responses. Its trial and error at first I guess. My prob was I was letting my batt get too low. With a fully charged batt the ecig worked great...for awhile. Now it looks like the atty fried. I went on "Puresmoker" site and ordered an ego starter kit so I will be back at it in a few days. Until then I am back on "analogs" unfortunately.

Hi Lisa, Welcome!! A slightly sore throat is reported by many people when they first start vaping. It usually goes away in about a week.
