New Vaper & New Member :D I got questions !

Getting into Mech mods, i know what i'm doing already. I know how to build and all those stuff. I'm just wonder if anyone here uses a mech mod with either RBA tank for their daily use and what ohms are set on those tanks. I'm planning on getting either a Smok Magneto V2 that comes with a clone Patriot RBA and possibly getting a KFL V2+ because i don't really want to be vaping and dripping every other 3-5 puff. I'm also planning on using around .8 ohms to 1 or maybe 1.2ohms at the highest for my everyday use and ill set up a dripper on sub ohm for show to my friends :D.
I also did more research today and found an OP box mod that i fell inlove with. Cloud Chasers Inc. - Phoenix Box Mod (Unregulated and uses 2 18650 batteries)

Now i'm asking all of this because maybe i should just save my money and get the Box Mod and the dripper and an RBA Tank and use it for my daily vapes and on the go.

So yeah.. thanks in advance :)

Cant seem to find the price for it and their site is down :(
But i definitely like/love the Cloud Chaser Inc box mod more for some reason. Wood finish would be great, showing less scratches and what not, just my personal opinion x)

Be sure to take closer look at the reo; bottom feed dripper; you put the bottle of liquid below the dripper, inside the box; instead of dripping with two hands, you press the bottle to shoot liquid up if necessary.

I think the cheapest is $156, mine was $175. Check out Super X Drifter's videos on youtube. IMHO it is the best out there. The site should be up in a couple days.

Actually, wood can show wear quite easily. I bought a Phidias box mod, that I absolutely love, but then bought a Reo the next week when I realized that wood mods are rather delicate.

Oh, hmmm i should do more research on the REO Grand. I just dont like the way it looks x) Picky about these because i don't wanna get into mod collecting and what not so i want something that ill be content with for a long time. Already spent alot on knives since i like collecting those haha

You got the right idea about RTA and .7 to 1 ohms imo.... with a mech.
I have a couple RTA at .9 to 1 ohms on a Nemesis and I really like it a lot although I have to change out batts IMR Hi drains when they get to 3.6, 3.5v... not bad.
The vape is awesome, but Neme brass (even clones) have very little v drop.
Depending on the mod you choose, you can always raise or lower the resistance.

Double 18650 is great as long as the other factors are good.
I'm into mostly regulated boxes now, and the DNA or CNA30's with one 18650 go down fast too.

Believe it or not, the DovPo eMech 30w is great! (i know its not a mech but it has 2 18650s)

My Reo Grand, I use dual coil RDA's (Magma and Origen2 both bottom fed converted). You'd have to find a b/f rda you like but more are coming out and you don't need a tank.
They have sub ohms contacts now.
IMO the vape on a good RDA can possibly match a tank, but I like having my RTA's the most.

Like liking one shape over another is no big deal - it's personal preference. I have both and use both. I was just suggesting you consider the drawbacks of wood.

Yeah i understand, it is personal preference. I just find the REO alittle weird, idk. Maybe its because it uses the bottle, i personally rather use 2 batteries for a box mod and just use a tank and a dripper and switch it up once in a while x)

I'm getting into box mods too idk why, i didnt like that when i started. I researched regulated vs unregulated box mods earlier but i don't get the difference. Care to share some info ? :D

I usually don't build anything under 0.9Ω, so I can use it on both my mechanicals and regulated.

Yeah thats what i thought, its a good balance between the low sub ohms for cloud chasing or something and the higher ohms. 0. to 1 might be perfect imo.

yeah i find RTA more convenient. Might get a b/f rda in the future tho, well i definitely will but maybe months in the future haha.

Sure; ok well you are vaping about what ie. 3.7v and .8 ohms = around 20w? just guessing without calculating.

A mech can go way up in watts anytime, but you need around a 30w capable regulated.
this is my experience because I vape mostly between .5 and 1 ohms for years now.

So all you need to know is how many watts you need, and if you have a good regulated device you can get a consistent power to the atomizer with no lagging as the batt cycles down.

DNA3O would be good for you but most only use 1 18650 batt and anything around 20w and over usage, the single batt goes down quite fast.

Like good mechs (with good switches and good conductivity) there are many different kinds of chips today for regulated devices, and more coming out all the time.

Cloud Chasers INC also has a regulated box 120W chip its 20A and 6V, 2 18650. I dont know whether to go for a good regulated mod like this one or an unregulated one. I've done my research about the unregulated box mod i mentioned earlier and got really really low voltage drop. Hmmm, so many decision to make xD

I find a lot have the same opinion that a tank atomizer has better flavor.

Most don't need and will hardly ever go much over 50w unless they are into huge clouds, and even then hardly up to 100w.
That doesn't mean that some high watt boxes are not good even if you never go there because theres other factors that can make those high watt boxes desirable even if you don't need all that power.

It depends on the chip, what it can do, how that fits into your particular range, and other design features. I don't know enough about it but it pays to check these things out... at least be assured that you are going to get your vaping requirements met.
I've been reading about these differences as electronically inclined vapers comment on the boat load of new high watt boxes are just starting to hit the market.

I jumped in early but got a couple of Raptor chip boxes which are like Cadilac imo... I also have a Ranger OKR T10 50w coming and I think that is going to be my "go to" because Raff (the maker) really knows his stuff, and I never go for extreme vaping.

Most of my tanks are single coil.

You are going to see tons of regulated high watt boxes with different chips (to be critiqued) coming in the next year.... because imo mech tubes have reached their peak for a good while now, and in the last couple of years you could not find a regulated device over 20w.

yeah thats what i actually thought about the high wattage mods at first. It seems so much, specially for someone whos not into heavy cloud chasing.
Btw Range OKT T10 looks like a beaut! How much was it?

Um I think it was about $150 to 175 with sony batts... he had a list going but might be closed now. He's on Reddit.

I hear good things about the Yihi 350 SX chip coming out too.

There's a fugly Okr T10 50w in the classies now... I'm tempted just because... I'm more into performance than looks.

I'd have to sell at least one Raptor though; this is getting ridiculous (gear acquistion syndrome).

I'm into both x) unless i'm planning on getting more in the future then i wouldn't about the looks.
I agree with you on that, i buy so many knives but i barely use most of them. Maybe i should start selling so i can get some decent authentic RDA instead of clones :)
