While I wait to be activated, I'll post here. I am searching for my first electronic cigarette. I am desperately trying to be informed before making any purchases. I want an e-cigarette that I can buy cartridges either full or empty and that I can buy them easy from almost anywhere. Because it seems to have these features I am looking for in an e-cig, I was all set on the DSE901 until I started reading on forums that the battery life was short.. On every forum I have read, including this one, there seems to be more information on what NOT to buy, rather than what TO buy. Can someone just tell me a good, cig that has a battery life of longer than 18 days? LOL And, then, advise as to what company/companies ARE reputable. And, are ALL e-cigarettes expected to have bad batteries? Thanks for any replies.
Hello Jane Doe:
Welcome to the forum. You have'nt told us if you are a heavy or light smoker? I think you could get by if you are on the light side with the 901. but to be honest (my opinion the batteries are not worth the time, lately). Yeah, I know the 901 has been reccomended in the past as the old staple, I just feel that the reliability lately has been comprimised, remember everything is made in China. Something is worng lately (for what ever reason) maybe workmanship? It (the 901) has been reccomended in the past and now for a start up vaporizer here often, (bad start for me).
If you are a serious smoker, looking for an alternative with less hassle I personally reccomend the Screwdriver , . It is not first reccomended here,..
ecigscrewdriver.com here to everyone. Please read up and make your informed choice. I feel, It should be offered to serious smokers here. By serious I mean (close ) to two packs a day, or a person who smokes a very strong cigarette for sure. The battery life is much stronger with the Screwdriver, sometimes lasting a day and a half. Compare that to the 901 (if they work) 2,3,4, hours this varies in batterie life.
You cant just buy a reliable, (somewhat reliable), personal vaporizer just anywhere. You have to order it and wait. You are lucky if you find one close to you. But regardless, it takes some time, and cost, to acquire all the necessities to be able to not look back to analoge smoking. if that is indeed your goal.
P.S. if you can give us some more iformation as to what kind of smoker you are, ie: heavy, light? we can possibly offer more advise.
welcome again, and feel free to ask any questions you may have so we can try to helpl
Just a bit of info. I truely wish others would offer for your personal reseach. Good Luck to you. If you have more questions, please post them.
