Hello,
I was a pack a day smoker for the last 20+ years. Bought my first E- cig (used from a co-worker) 2 weeks ago and have been lurking on this forum ever since, lol. Love all the helpful info posted on here and am ready to take my vaping to the next level as my current one is quickly losing its effect.
Haven't had an analog in a few days.:) Was looking seriously at the roughstack but the bottle fed mods seem more user friendly as I do alot of driving and I am a locomotive engineer. Any thoughts ?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to ecf! I'm not familiar with the roughstack. I am also interested in the bottle fed mods, but have never used one. With the exception of the wetbox they seem to be difficult to find. From what I understand, the last batch of REOs sold out in less than a minute. I've seen mixed reviews of the wetbox so am hesitant to try it.

Personally, I find that the eGo paired with a couple of cartomizers last me through the work day without any problems.

If you are looking for long life and convenience with a nearly bullet-proof build quality, the REO grand is the way to go. Since you might end up waiting to get one, pick up a Riva 510 from Liberty-Flights for $30. 6-8 hours battery life and combined with Boge 510 2ohm cartomizers, it makes a good on-the-road pv (and a really handy back-up).

The $30 510 Riva kit from Liberty Flight comes with 2 attys. The Boge 510 2ohm cartos work really well on the eGo(Riva) and are very easy to fill and refill, without having to fool with messy carts or dripping. They are 5 for $7.99 at Liberty Flights...I'm still on my first 5 pack after 3 weeks. So, buy a pack of those, and throw in $1.59 delrin type D drip tip (I like to use it on my carto).

Hi and welcome to ECF. I used eGo's for a while, until I got my Maxi Roughstack. Now those eGo's are sitting in a box and I haven't used them in over a month. The Roughstack is built like a tank and hits consistently all day. Using the 18650 3000mah batteries you can go 2 days on a single charge if you want, although vapor production starts falling off a bit after about 14 hours of vaping for me. It's only a bit more expensive than an eGo kit too. It's worth serious consideration.

Thanks so much for your help mlinky. I think I'm about to pull the trigger on that Riva ! I can't believe the price, less than half what I paid for my used safe-cig.

Make sure you click the 20% off icon on the top of the page. Your total should be about $39-$40 plus 2.99 shipping.

cskent, thanks, and that Roughstack is still on my hitlist. Have read tons of good reviews on this thing. The long battery life and tons of vapor sound like vaping nervana. Waiting on a reply on one in the classifieds. Lol
