Hello Everyone!
I happily Switched from cigarettes to vaping on my Tesla Sidwinder II on December 3rd. My Mom also Switched but she bought the iTaste CLK! 1280. Now Her Starter kit is awesome EXCEPT for this one thing.
Today I told her to simply charge her battery over night instead of having to charge in the middle of the day. THATS when she told me she would never do that because her device heats up A LOT during charging and is afraid to leave it on the charger too long!!
I said WHAAAA.... mine Never Get warm, not charging all night or when i chain vape.
Cant be good.. She told me its the Switch that gets too hot to touch. I just checked in as she is charging right now and the battery feels warm... its been on the charger for 30 minutes. Tell me this is normal or should she not be using this device?

Clean all of the connectors with Rubbing alchy and try again....


It shouldnt heat up like that though.

if at anytime the battery got to a point that it was too hot to touch you should get rid of it asap, that heat could of easily damaged the internal components of it.

I second what frank says above. Things should never get too hot to touch. A LITTLE bit warm during charging is sometimes normal (depending on the device and charger). However "almost too hot tou touch" is telling you that something is definitely wrong.

Is she using the charger that came with the iTaste? What is the charge rating on the charger?

I noticed that the CLK 1280's charging specs say "Charging: Micro USB DC5V/500mA". If the charger she's using is a 1000ma (1-watt) charger, that could be charging the CLK too fast and thus the extra heat.
