Welcome Paul , but even my own doctor , knows nothing about them . He's heard of them , but that's the extent of his knowledge . He asked me if I still smoked . So I told him no , I now vape . He said , I don't see any difference . I told him , he needs to go online and look it up , as health providers need to get up to date . Some of my other doctors , know all about them , and are on-board with me using them , instead of cigrettes . So some people in the world are running around with blinders on .

I hear ya brother! I think maybe its been "taboo". I think based on my new education, the ego style batteries have really brought size and satisfaction together. I knew about the little gas station cigs (tried em all, never satisfied me) but this vaping thing has changed my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

29 days NO cigarettes! Ego900 battery with a bunch of tanks, cartos, clearomizers and still exploring this world.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I had only seen the cigalikes like Blu before I started researching on the internet. My husband had one about a year ago and it was CRAP lol. I didn't like it and kept smoking. Later on this fall I noticed I was spending $80 or more every two weeks buying a carton of cigarettes and then the carton wasn't even lasting two weeks. I started smoking cheap brands but they tasted awful. So for whatever reason I thought I'd try SLOWING down my smoking by getting an e-cig. I looked online and bought a 510 kit. Then I did that for two weeks, without smoking, realized how easy it was, kept researching, and ended up here :)

My 3 month old transition has taken me from analoges through skycigs, egos, ego twists, legacy and I have now fallen in love with super t's.

I have a 16340, 18650 and have ordered a 10440 this morning for those visits to the pub as I am still a bit embarrassed to use the bigger mods in public.

I am still frustrated by not enough flavour. Please advise if this is something all vapors learn to live with or if you manage to find the flavour you crave. I have also ordered a somnium RBA yesterday for my first attempt at a rebuildable and my quest to find the elusive flavour I crave.

Interesting...quit on the patch...wife had a premium e-cig rig...tried it and just ok...found Vapor Shark in Fort Lauderdale while working and WOW...what a difference the real stuff is from the cheap or should say lower grade, ecigs that look like cigs are...one month two weeks no real cigarettes and now with a real vaping rig, I'm done with cigarettes and this is the way to go...
Isn't technology great...Now if someone would just invent something that tasted like food, filled up like food with no calories, we'd be there....LOL

Chances are there IS a flavor out there that will assuage your cravings. It just can take awhile to find it. Many people like to have an assortment of different flavors they switch out all day according to their moods, etc. But they have to FIND those assorted flavors, and that can take time (and trying a LOT of vendors). Other people settle on one or two flavors they really like and stick with those. To find an "exclusive" flavor like that isn't impossible, but it can be challenging.

I was lucky. I found a menthol I liked right out of the gate. When I could no longer get that one...I was able to quickly find another one that worked out. Now I DIY my own. If I need to change it up a bit ...more koolada? less? a drop more peppermint? a bit less sweet? I can tweak as I need to for my tastes and what PV I'm favoring at the moment. (the delivery system..including the PV battery device itself..CAN make a difference!)

I smoked for 28 years. I have quit many times cold turkey, nic gum, pills, etc. I always go back and usually smoked more - the problem - I really enjoyed smoking! Then, my boss hooked me up with a setup one day at work to try and see if I could avoid analogs...went right after work and bought my own (ego 650) with clearomizers. Moving to a vv Vision Spinner and Kanger eVods (do you think watching the mail box will make them suddenly appears?? :) I haven't picked up an analog since...I feel great, can smell again, allergy issues getting better. I am also going to start DIY...

I like the fact that there are so many choices in premade juices, vg vs pg, extracts, nic level, etc. I am really liking the idea of DIY because I can control the chemicals even more and try to use as many naturals as possible. The best thing about vaping...I enjoy it more than I enjoyed smoking! I wish I had discovered it years ago.

Wi Dow shopping and stocking supplies is a great way to spend those Winter days. I'm set until next Winter. Welcome to vaping. Did you wonder wether or not to use Vapor or Vaporer? I do to but it is got to be Vaporer even though that feels odd. I am a Vaporer from the Great Northwest. Ive been to UK. Might make it back for a Wimbledon final. My favorite sports event. Nope. Not Super Bowl for me but it's OK. love love Wimbledon

Whenever I tell people I vape or have an 'e-cig' they ALWAYS refer to the Blu e-cigs.. (if they even know anything at all) and I just shake my head as I try to explain the difference..

A year ago I was also very much in the dark and thought Blu's or Njoy's were all I had to choose from.

Boy was I wrong.
