I'm new to this forum, but started vaping may last year, so I'm going to write down how it all started, how I feel today and so on. Please bear with me, I'm from germany, so english is not my mother's tongue.
I started vaping as a test, smoked for nearly 20 years a pack/day, often more, tried two times to quit smoking with books and patches, nothing really worked for me. Using patches was hoorible. They felt of my skin when starting to sweat, I was in a real bad mood, slept horrible, you name it..
After my last visit to Chicagoland, we have a subsidary over there, and paying 6$ a pack I started to think. Back in germany on a saturday afternoon I went to my local tabcco shop, looking for a new Zippo, I stumbled over an ad: 'The electric cigarette'. OK.. lets see.. He explained it to me, made a quick demonstration, 110 where handed over the counter and I was a proud owner of a shiny new DSE-901. In the afternoon, after reading the 'manual', charging batteries, combing google for e-cigs, joining some forums, I was ready to go, smoked the last analogue and tried the DSE.. hmm.. well.. I a bit baffled.. It tasted strange, made me cough and after some puffs I felt a little woozy, like you didn't smoked for a day and then burn one down in three minutes
OK.. first step made lets get going.
The weekend went out well, no troubles, but I was missing something, the feel of a real cigarette but it vanished over time.
After a few weeks O bought a used penstyle, what a difference! Vapor all over the place, so I traded in my trusty DSE-901 to another penstyle and was really addicted..
The journey went further with a Ruyan e-cigar from heaven gifts, but I didn't liked it, so sold it after a week to a friend. Next stop: e-pipe (DSE-601) which I bought after my surgery (removal of nasal polyps) in september.
The e-pipe was my preferred tools to use, outperformed everything I had before, like different models and makes of e-cigars, penstyles..
I currently own four of them, but don't use them any more. The last batch I've received und warranty was to bad. First pull was OK, but after that it tastes burnt, carts have so troubles and so on.. See, I want to vape to get my hit, and don't play with it to get a decent taste..
For two months I've used the Greentech G120, tested the G500 but currently switch back to minis because there is only one supplier here in germany for the greentech's and he is out of stock for a couple of weeks. I'm currently use a J118B which performes really good, but the sledgehammer (Joye 510) is on it's way from China. As usual I've ordered form ruyandirect.
Looking back: Nearly the best thing that happened to me. I'm not going to say that I'm a non-skomer, I only shifted my addiction to analogues to e-cigs. OK, I feel much better, taste better and my yearly bronchitis didn't hit me like a wrecking ball this year.
The downsize which everybody should know: product quality is sometime more than horrible but no pain, no gain
