New Wet Box questions

I recieved my new Wet Box today, and seems to work fine. Makes a nice vapor, th is awesome but the problem is I can not taste the juice? The juice I have in the is fsusa Wyatt Earp so it is not like it is a mild taste. I could taste it when I used a cart on my 510 though not to strong. But with a 510 carto there is no flavor at all, I feel the Nicotine hit but that is it. Is this an issue with the Wet Box, do I need to order extra flavor?

Hey! I wish I had an answer for you, but I have been having the exact same problem with my wetbox. I posted this question earlier in the week, and one poster suggested that perhaps my cartos do not have the right size hole to accommodate the feeder needle. I am going to order some new cartos from COV, but I have not done so yet.

I remember someone posting about trimming down the needle on the 510 version. I have the 808, so I haven't done a needle trim on mine.

I hope someone else chimes in as well, because there may be some advice for both of us! Just wanted to update you on some suggestions I got, and let you know you are not alone with the lack of flavor problem. It really stinks because aside from lack of flavor, I love my wetbox!

I find that with some carto's also. They will taste fine in a cart/atomizer but when you load a carto, nothing. Or the flavor has really changed. I don't know what the difference is. I only use really strong flavors like atomic cinnacide or cinna-bomb in my carto's. WE is strong also but I've done the same as you and got the same result. Hopefully someone on here can pipe in some info on this. I'd like to know why.

Edit: I just tried a standard CE2 R4 on mine and the flavor remains. My guess is it has something to do with the filler material in standard carto's.

are you filling the cartomizer first? I usually have kona cream in mine from COV which is pretty mild to me I can always taste it. I fill the carto then use the bottle to keep it wet the drier it gets the less I can taste the flavor

Well I tried that well it sort of helps but only some what. I am on my third carto this morning, I don't know if I flooded the first two or burned them up but they do not work at all now. I know it is get getting the hang of something new, but this is getting frustrating.

I just got my wetbox also and I wasnt very pleased with it at first. After vaping with a LR 510 atty on my ego and then vaping with a standard 510 carto on my wetbox I wasnt impressed. COV sells the wetbox approved LR 510 Cartos....these were approved by missy, so I will order some of them soon. I think once someone gets accustomed to LR vaping its really hard switching back to a standard resistance. Hope this helps!

Well right now I am vaping Peach tea flavor on the wet box. I can taste the tea flavor but not the peach. On my regular 510 I can taste both with the peach being slightly stronger. I have noticed I have to vape in not as strong, because if I vape the way I do a 510 my tongue starts to go numb. I put the atty from my 510 on the wet box and tried that and it was the same hardly any flavor. I pumped several drops in but no real flavor. I got my wet box from cov, so got the right carto so not sure if I am doing it wrong or what the issue is.

Well I am getting frustrated with it!!!! The last carto I put in I filled it before putting it on the wet box, and pumped new juice in it every so often as I vaped to keep it wet. Well after about 5 hours it stopped working? I was at work so I was not vaping all the time maybe a few puffs every half hour. The carto before this one did the same thing. I though this time maybe the battery was dead so I put in a new one, and nothing. When I got home I put an cart and that worked fine. I have be reading and I know carto don't last long but only a few hours? I know the first carto I used I burned up because you can tell it is chard. the these last two look fine, just don't work. For the time it did work I still had no flavor and had to keep drinking water since it was leaving a nasty film in my mouth, kind of like when you chain smoke and the next morning the nasty taste in your mouth. this happened after a short time not overnight. I have no Idea what I am doing wrong. The instructions I got with the wet box are vague, that is why I burned up the first carto because all the instructions say to do is pump 5 times and start vaping. I like the Wet Box but if I can not get it to work right I might have to do something else.

personally I trimmed down the needle just enough to use a Cisco LR306 and the flavor couldn't be better. I had similar issues with cartos on the wetbox, it didn't matter if they were standard, LR, or CE2, it was just too agrivating. Since I adapted my wetbox for the 306 it's my @ work pv and hasn't let me down.
