New wick - new taste

I just rewicked my ego-c atomizer. The vapor production is great, but i can taste the difference with this wick. Should i be concerned about this? Any information is greatly appreciated.

What kind of material did you use? If ceramic, did you burn it with a torch? If cotton, did you boil it? There are several materials peeps are using for wick.

Its cotton. If I boil it, will the taste be gone?

a strong flavor such as menthol, coffee, etc can cover it up.

With all the respect, for me, wicks always give me this "funky" whick-y taste and gave me nothing more than troubles.
If i were you i would explore other alternatives.
From simple cartos or cartos in tanks, to rebuildable atomizers like the Line V2 or the DID for a more advanced user..

I know you are looking for a solution for your ego-c atomizer, but trust me and...explore...
You will thank yourself you did.
