So being relatively new to this, I know I have run my attys dry a few times. So yes, they taste like crap and I know it is my fault. I removed their bridges and wicks for dripping, but they still taste burnt. Is there a way to get rid of this or are they trashed? They still light up great and produce great vapor, just crappy taste. I did remove the bridge and wick from a new one and it tastes great, so it ust be something burnt onto the coil. Any tips?
I've learned the signs of when it's about to happen, so I don't get the burnt taste very often. I do flood my attys more often just so I know I'm not getting close to going dry. I posted this very same problem last week, and I've pretty much decided that you just need to add more liquid until it stops tasting bad.
