Hello all. First I would like to thank you all for the great information I found on this site. I have been lurking for awhile. I have been analog free for two weeks now and proud of it. I did quit for 10yrs and when the husband left two years ago I started smoking again. Worse than just that I thought I could pick up the nicorette gum and quit like the first time. Oh no I just made it all much worse by smoking then chewing gum in between smokes.
About two months ago I purchased the V2 starter kit with a sampler e-liquid pack. The kr8 provided a good throat hit and vapor but the taste of the liquid was bleh.. ( I know personal opinion) but I tried I really did try to like it and I found out their 18mg left me craving the analogs so bad I didn't quit at all. I almost gave up and found PEC. I got a sampler e-liquid and a 510 kit. Of the 6 e-liquids I tried, Butter Rum 24mg did it for me. I mean I didn't crave analogs, no more gum, and the flavor was great. However...
I found the 510 (manual)batteries don't last too long yet the flavors coming from it are superior to the same e-liquid in the kr8. It's almost like the bigger the battery, the easier it is to burn the liquid and change the flavor. I even got an Inferno and it is great (got a drip tip and some empty cartomizers) With that one the flavor isn't as 'burnt' tasting as the kr8 but not quite as good as the 510.
Right now I'm just trying to balance it all out. I want the flavor of the 510 but the long lasting battery/vapor cloud making ability of the Inferno. I am wondering if there are any advisors out there that can help me out. Maybe it's the liquid not holding up to the increased battery power of the other e-cigs? Maybe if I do something different ....
All I know is that I have found a few great flavors but am in love with the ButterRum from PEC and if anyone knows of an alternative that will be better in the Inferno or kr8 I'm open to trying it. I barely even care about throat hit anymore, except with my morning coffee and I have mint flavors to take care of that.
Funny how when all this started I tasted the flavors less than I do now. I seriously can't stand any of the original e-liquid I first got. So taste becomes more important the longer you are away from the analogs.
Thanks again for all the great advice and great people on here that give it.
