Hi all, I'm Derek and I am 21 years of age. I started smoking only back in August of 2009 due to lots of unfortunate life events and in January decided that I wanted to ensure a more healthful life--comparatively speaking--and switched to electronic cigarettes.

I do have some questions though. I have read some threads on the forums and saw some people refill their cartridges only once every week or two. Is this true!? I must be doing something wrong because I refill a few times a DAY. I didn't think I smoked them that often but it seems the liquid really gets vaporized rather fast. I have the Vapor King from Electronic Cigarettes Inc. I bought the Platinum kit that came with 3 quite small 10mL bottles of refill liquid. One bottle is almost empty and I've used about half of the other two already since I received them around the beginning of January. I am afraid I am smoking much much more than I might have been with traditional cigarettes but I am unsure how this could be possible.

I used to smoke around 8-12 cigarettes a day. Now I am unsure how to calculate. Also, I have to charge up my cigarette about three to four times daily. Perhaps I am overusing my electronic cigarette? If so, I don't notice.

Thanks!

Sorry to double post, but his quote: "I generally refill carts once every week to two weeks. Spent carts are stored in a ziplock bag until then. Old cart fillings are removed and e-liquid is squeezed in a large diameter syringe into a special bottle contains squeezings of all the flavors that I may have used. I keep this for emergencies, but have been know to sample it just for fun."

I have about 8 greencig cartomizers that I refill as I use them. I rotate them and have 2 filled with each of 4 flavor/strength options for my desire at any given time. I think they last longer when allowed to soak over night. I also have 4 batteries I rotate. They and the cartos last about 4-6 hours under constant vaping. A lot depends on how you vape and the strength of the juice.
