Are the products I got today, ya!! and am pretty sure I've done as directed but I taste a very nasty plastic taste when I vape. Not much vapor comes out either. batteries charged. probably like 30 drops total, as I wasnt getting anything vape wise initially. Um am leery to fill another, any thoughts? Thank you in advance (before this have only ever used Blu, btw)

If the atty's were not prefilled you may have gotten some stuff from the mfging process. Pays to rinse or in come attys dry burn them before filling. I've never used an automatic so don't know what to expect from them on flavor. It will probably dissipate over time.

I'm actually a little surprised by that. If anything, I would guess that you overfilled your cartomizer. Try removing the cartomizer, and laying the bottom (threaded area) on a paper towel. If juice appears on the paper towel, then you have over filled, and the cartomizer is flooded. Just let it leak out onto the paper towel, and clean out everywhere the juice went (on the battery, too!). That SHOULD help.

Saying that..it really doesn't surprise me that you are not liking your set up...because well...it's not really a "really good one"...at all.

For the price you paid for that, you could have gotten a couple of Vision Spinner 1300mAh batteries, a couple Viva Nova tanks and a charger and you'd be really happy. Check out The Electronic Cigarette Super Store | myvaporstore.com for all that I listed...great vendor with great prices!

Don't worry about it Kim. From looking at your link, it seems you're using cartomizers so this advice is not relevant.

30 drops from a standard plastic dropper bottle could be roughly 1.5 ml. Standard cartos, in my own experience will hold about 1 ml (20 drops). But, the size of a drop varies depending on a number of factors. The advice given by yerdreamsrequiem will help in that case.

Overfilling won't cause that bad taste though. That sounds more like underfilling - first time out, a carto needs to be really full or you burn the absorbent padding and it tastes nasty. Check for overfilling (listen for the gurgle when you blow). If that's not the problem, fill some more and let it rest for a few minutes on its side before trying it again.

Well? thank you all for the warm welcome. I will try to fill it more perhaps, being that it does not smell like the bottle of liquid and barely a fog of vapor.... if not will start out with a fresh new on in the AM. Will update asap.. Thank you for all the replies.

Hey Kim While i have moved on to vv/vw and mech mods I started with a similar set up by another company and had same issue and burned through a few carts before i learned how to fill them correctly. I recommend going to youtube a check out the condom fill method probably 20 video's on it. Another thing I do is blow from the threads end lightly to clear any juice that might have seeped down the center. Then when taking the first few puffs do them low and slow to break in the cart some take as many as 20 puffs to break in then suck on them like a straw .. works everytime for me and my wife as she still has one in her purse all the time as a back up .. plus gives off a decent amount of vapor...
