good question. i think it happens when u flood it or maybe my wraps arent making contact all the way around? dunno but ive gotten it twice once in my ithika with 1.5 and once with 2mm in the immortalizer. its really nasty

I've gotten it several times while experimenting with wicks. I used SS rope with the top sleeved with ekowool-socks, skinny mesh inside ekowool-socks, ekowool by itself in HR-socks lol.

For mesh I'm pretty sold on U wicks right now. Pretty easy to make and never dry hit.

Yup, that's the one. It's unknown what all it works with, but I have a lot of the stuff that it is known to work with.
