Hey UNO. Yea. Post processing issues. Yep g-code. My first attempt at learning g-code did not go over well as the tips are all arcs which seem really difficult to manually program. An atomizer or tank seems to be much easier to manually program through g code

Programming arcs basically is knowing the start, stop and center points, it does get a little more difficult trying to blend in multiples as I would figure you would have the need to do. Looking at many of your tips they don't seem to be constant arcs either...

Regarding cutting plastics I use carbide with a really positive nose, actually does very well. You do know about the constant surface footage code? That should help with chip load as the diameter gets smaller, but we're talking about small anyway, not too often I turned parts as small as drip tips ;)

I have read about it, it may or may not help. We ate not talking about much material that needs to be roughed. I also am using a combination of three tools to make one tip. One a positive right handed carbide. The other two are threading parting types. I am looking into an auto tool changer to help speed things up.

In the end all the tips will still have to be finished and sanded by hand. I still think I should be able to finish one in a quarter or the time
