Hey all,

Hope everyone is well.

Today is my Friday for this week. Yay! Having a day with family tomorrow then back on the house hunting at the weekend.

Put in an order for an assortment of wire rope and ekowool sleeves to give this genesis world another go. That may be Sundays entertainment. And been looking at this stuff, its a bit pricey but maybe something worth trying.... will have a dig around all the forums for some info.

Looking forward to seeing tonight's tips.

Good evening..another busy week here. We need rain so bad...it's crazy if you looked back at my posts from this Spring I was ready to build an arc, now we are bone dry. I seriously can't believe the kids are all going back to school around here...time is just slipping away far to quickly. I need a STOP button:laugh:

Yeah, drew. I am loving the rain except it will make the grass grow and I will have to mow it. Anyone have experience with the newer fake grass?

I hear it looks like the real thing and I am considering it.

Do you mean astroturf? Lordy I hope not, that stuff doesn't even look remotely real. There's also zeroscaping. People in Arizona and New Mexico do that a lot. Instead of a grassy yard they put stones out. I personally don't care for it. But some people swear by it.

Edit: Apparently it's called Xeriscape(ing).

I do not know what they are calling it but it looks like real grass unless you look up close. I do not think the xeriscape would work here with all the rain and weeds. I am sick of mowing so something has to give.

One of the doggy day-care/boarding places near my house has pretty large pens of the newer artificial grass and it looks and feels pretty nice. I think you set it up with sand underneath so it can be hosed down and allowed to drain (that's a need when the primary use is 15-20 dogs running around on it all day). I also saw it in use on one of the landscape rescue shows on HGTV too.

Hey Bullies, hope you are all doing well this evening! :)

What happened to Brett last night? Thought I'd wake up to see some beautiful new Bullie tip pics this morning, but???

Sorry for not being around much, life has been a little crazy lately, but I do at least try to keep up on reading the thread.
