Does all ribbon glow purple?

Purple? My ribbon wire glows orange when fired while the wick is dry. Never seen purple...

Quick question... anyone got any 14500 mod recommendations? I prefer the smaller profile tubes for out and about during the day. Don't mind carrying spare batteries. Been trying the piccolo but having trouble with the switch disassembling through the repeated action of locking and unlocking....

I too like smaller profile devices. I had a sturm mod at one point, but the 14500 battery just didn't do it for me. That was also back in the good ol' days of carto tanks, and 18350's wouldn't do it for me either. With Gennies, I think a 14500 would do just fine. I highly recommend the P+18350 for a small, low profile device. It's not a 14500, but is only 20mm in diameter, and fits many 20mm atomizers perfectly.
