It's rare, ok. But it's still just a fancy battery tube. If it was 24k gold or Ti I could see it. I think my Poldiac looks better for way less money.

The only thing I really like about a Vela, is it's clean lines. It looks sleek without being bland. Same reason I like the JM22's, just a straight tube basically. But somehow it doesn't look boring.
