Hey Manji. I used to own Saabs, and dated my mechanic for 10 years and it still cost me $2500 annually, at least.
Saabs are cool, but I know they are a headache. I have a Jeep that is super easy to work on and an 80s 300zx turbo that is a pain but totally worth it.

That is the great thing about the Internet. If there is something needed done to my car, there are tons of forums with DIYs. Also, you can find parts for anything way cheaper than the dealerships will charge. When I first got my car,the sliding cover on the sunroof had some plastic parts that were broken and it moved sketchy. The BMW dealership wanted $600 some odd dollars to fix it, I fixed it for $12:)

I paid $100 less to replace the mirror control switch in my Audio (just for the part). Obviously not OEM, as I have to turn to the passenger side to adjust the driver-side mirror. But hey, I can adjust my mirrors for $18. I have the replacement switch for the driver side seat but I haven't yet felt like removing the entire seat to replace the broken switch.

Man I'm starting to get tired of life getting in the way of me coming to hang with the bullies;) Is that bad?;) Gonna be pretty busy coming up here. Making a trip to the bay (again) to help the pops out. It will be worth it tho when I have some $$ again to look at bully's:):)

Hope everyone in bully land is doing great!

Nice rides manji. I used to have a 90's 300zx and yes they are a PAIN to work on. I mean I think they built the car around the engine, haha, it's just crammed in there. But the drive makes up for the hrs of cursing and knuckle busting;)

Good morning second family. :p

There are quite a few cars/trucks out there that were quite literally built around the engine. I work with my father in his transmission shop, and I can't count the number of times we have to drop or raise the engine on vehicles just to get to the trans. There's been some vehicles we've even considered raising the entire body off just to get to the stinking thing!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning bullies and bullettes!:) Early for me today. Gotta get on the road to the bay.
Very true guys. They definitely make cars now so that you can't work on them. One reason I don't wanna buy a brand new car for sure.
Hope everyone has a awesome day and hope to pop in later tonight, after a long day of driving and work:)
