Do you plan on ordering online or are you looking for something sold locally? I don't want to be invasive, but I would need to know at least your continent to offer useful suggestions.

You've already made a couple good choices - to switch from cigs to vaping, and to come here!
We need some more info before any specifics can be suggested. Your budget?
I think it's generally a good idea to start at the lower end of the hardware spectrum. No reason to spend hundreds at first. Something simple like a Spinner with adjustable voltage, so you can fine tune your vape. A simple bottom coil clearo like a Kanger T3S, and a few spare coils for it. And juice....
While B&Ms - physical stores - have higher overhead than online, and therefore higher costs, if you have one to go to that has a flavor bar you can taste test several flavors to see what kinds you like. (You don't say how much you smoked, so the nic level of the juice is up in the air. I was a fairly heavy smoker, and found 4 was what I needed to make the transition. But we're all unique! A different level may be right for your needs.)
Keep it simple to start. No need to get lost in the hobby side of vaping until you have your feet solidly under you
