to ECF Laura. So glad you are here. At one time we were all new to vaping. I have been vaping 9 years and I still learning.

I am no help as far as disposables because I have never used them although I have heard positive comments. I personally think that for just a little bit more money you can find a more substantial and longer-lasting vape option. There are so many inexpensive choices out there now as you will read within this forum.

You have found a great place to find reliable information and people who care. Make yourself at home and good luck to you on your vaping journey.

Welcome!

Are disposable ones any good?
Far as i can tell, all vapes are disposable. It's just a matter of how long you can use them before they're done for.

But we know what you mean by 'disposable ones.' From all i've seen, no, they're not very good. Simple & convenient but expensive long-term, w/ limited options, and not exactly friendly to the environment. If you're trying to stop or reduce cigarette smoking and feel that vaping is only a temporary aid to help you get where you want to be, disposables may be worthwhile. If you believe you'll need to vape for a good while to keep you from smoking, there are more cost-effective ways to vape that give you more options & control.

If your reason for vaping isn't to stop or reduce smoking, my advice is don't vape.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Disposables usually use an insanely high level of nicotine that is known to get people hooked on high levels of nicotine that has given the industry an even worse reputation than we already had. They are also believed by many to use inferior quality juices that may be less safe than the premium juices you buy in a bottle. Then you have the problem that they create and insane amount of e-waste. Your best bet is to do your research on a rechargeable & refillable pod system to buy and use juice that has no higher than 20mg (aka 2%) nicotine.

If you are not a smoker or if you've never been a smoker and have no intention of ever smoking, I would advise against vaping entirely. Take that money and set it aside for food, retirement, rent or utility bills. I know that sounds like an extremely dull way to live, but living only for the present has proven time and time again to put people in bad situations tomorrow causing lethal stress.

Welcome to the forum, we're glad you are here. Disposables are a cheap way to try vaping or a cheap backup. The quality is low compared to a better to setup. As posted above, they use a high percentage of nicotine salts up to over 50% in some systems. Also, with limited flavors they are very low end most are sold by big tobacco who, isn't concerned with your vaping success. I would only recommend them in the short term to see if vaping is for you, should you decide to continue your journey get you a better device and better eliquid choices, you will have a much better experience.
