So I pulled a really noobish move the other night cleaning out my Protank atomizer. After figuring out a good method to the flooding issue.. (which is obviously known, but every 1/4 of your liquid vaped, just tip the tank upside down and crack the seal between the base and tank; the pressure trick/tip = perfect fix) I ended up vaping all of my juice instead of having to change it out, leaving almost a 1/4 tank left. So I took it downstairs, disassembled the tank, prepping to rinse the base/atty, and without realizing, had completely forgotten to grab some tweezers and pull out the flavor wicks. -_-
Now realizing I had just rinsed my wicks down the drain, I then grabbed my spare atty that came with the tank, and was just going to swap them completely, this one having the flavor wicks still in it. After attaching the new unused atty to my VariVolt, to test the coil, ...to no avail the coil was noticeably already *literally* broken around the last wrap of kanthol.

Very top of coil, protruding to the left.

Luckily! - I had some really clean wick left on my VariVolt Storm Cartomizer Tank. (pos imho) So I trimmed some off, fashioned a decent wick out of what I had left and bam, TWO new flavor wicks that should last me a good while until I buy some replacement attys. Lesson to be learned, make sure you take your flavor wicks out before rinsing, folks.

Happy Vaping Everybody!
