smoking for over 30years, and lately smoking over 2 large packs/day. here in ontario canada prices of smokes keeps getting more expensive, hence the reason for wanting to quit, but i still like to smoke.

a year ago i tried the nv ecigs from costco, did not work as they have no nic and poor vape
got the mvp2 3 days ago, 3 days now only had 2 or 3 analogues only because i bought menthanol juice(18mg nic) and it didnt go w/my morning coffee, bought some tobacco flav juice and all is good now, i hope, i would of bought 24mg nic but they didnt have any but i think it would of been better for me as a heavy smoker as i did have a slight craving for cigs.

so for those sitting on the fence, just try it, imho dont start off w/those e-cigs you get from variety stores unless you r a light smoker,
buy the right hardware and juice w/the appropiate amount of nic content, initial cost would be the same and/or cheaper than 1 cartoon of cigs.

i cant believe its working for me as i really love to smoke and didnt give a damn about the health issues, it was all about the money.

Congrats! There is nothing wrong with having a few smokes. From 50 down to 3 is a heck of a lot of progress. I did both for a few weeks until I had a good understanding of my equipment. Don't be afraid to try non tobacco flavors. Most people want tobacco at first and most find they like other stuff more. Btw great call on the mvp. I wish I had bought that for my first setup.

actually over 3 days i would have easily smoked 150 cigs if not more, yes i was a chainsmoker, i have only had 3 since ....wow i cant believe, its not as hard as i thought it would be.
i still need my tobacco flav juice as others dont quite work for me yet plus it makes me feel like im still smoking analogues which i like and its working for me, i dont want to think im smoking chocolate citrus lol, it doesnt hit the spot.
i wish i tried this years ago but i thought vaping/ecigs were all like those nv sticks but now i know better

former 30 year smoker here too; switched in august last year;

ecigs are still developing and a few years ago there were not as many options as now.

you soon be acquiring some backups.

if you haven't already got a glass tank you should get one, or some, for the long haul, especially if you're trying out flavors. citrus for example, is a known case or reacting with plastic.

i recommend the miniprotank2v2

i was thinking of Aspire ET-S BDC stainless steel one

Sounds good; the Aspires are supposed to be higher quality.

It's eGo threaded; good;;

but.... that's not glass? That one is plastic.

Oh; is there a steel one? then you'll just have to open it up to check the liquid level.

in no time you will really love to vape!

I for me started vaping just to quit smoking, I smoked 25 cigs a day but I didn't really had a concern for my health (I'm on that age that you still think you are sort of invincible) it was just seem fun. now I don't like the smell or taste of analogs and LOVE vaping

Congrats!!! I myself was a 45+ cig a day smoker for about 25 years.. I quit because I got tired of the expense and the feeling crappy all the time part and there just happened to be a new "e-cig" shop that opened about a block from my house.. they sold only 901 and 510 ciga-like kits and cartomizers... and I loved 'em... kicked the cigarettes completely a little over four years ago.
Equipment and market for these PV's (personal vaporizers) has really evolved rapidly, and being the gadget geek that I am, I'm really enjoyed riding the wave, so to speak. Best way to REALLY squeeze the buck is via rebuilding coils like Protanks and evods and such.. super cheap and once you've learned how to do it, you eliminate the cost of replacement coil heads..there are even more paths to frugal vaping out there too.. Vape STRONG!

Looks good; make sure it's glass; the metal outside would be a jacket; it looks alot like an evod type.
