Newb needs atomizer help

I just started using ecigs about a week ago, first on some slightly overpriced disposables and now on my Smoke51 Red Line Trio that I picked up locally.

What I have noticed is that it is like trying to drink a super thick Frosty using a coffee straw. My experience with the disposables was a much more "natural" draw. I am guessing that it might be simply an issue with the atomizer.

So my question is what atomizers are compatible with the Red Line Trio? Also is it advisable to "hack" the atomizer?

I do have a 510 and an E8 on the way. So far I am pleased that my "analogue" craving is pretty much non-existent now thanks to ecigs.

A smoke 51 Trio is otherwise known as an RN4081, and these are the atomizers: Electronic Cigarette - Atomizers & Cones - RN4081

Until your 510 stuff comes, you might try direct dripping; take the cart off and remove the filler material, drip 3 drops or so directly onto the atomizer bridge, replace the now-empty cart and vape; you're good for perhaps 5 to 8 draws. Re-drip often.

The only messing with the atomizer you could do is to de-bridge and/or de-wick it; it's a little risky, and you could only use it for dripping afterward. There's lots of videos on YouTube about how to do it.

I saw that the Smoke51 Gold Line Trio uses a different atomizer, or at least Smoke51.com distinguishes between two different atomizers that do not work with the other model. The direct dripping will have to wait until I can get the juice that is coming in the same shipment as the 501.
