Hi Everyone, my name is Jessica and I am a newbie to e-cigarettes. I have been smoking real cigs since I was 14, and am now 31. I did manage to quit for 3.5 years but went back to it.

I just received my Smoke51 Trio in the mail last week, and for the most part I am pleasantly surprised! My only complaint is that it doesn't vaporize very long - so... this morning I ordered the Veppo 510 to try it out. I have read excellent reviews on that e-cig, especially the vapor strength and duration.

I am confused though about atomizes, cartomizers, etc. My Smoke51 is a 3 piece e cig, and has a seperate atomizer and cartridge. The Veppo, if I am not mistaken, is a 2 piece and uses something called a "cartomizer". If I end up liking the Veppo better, where do I order more cartomizers, and is the Veppo 510 compatable with any 510 cartomizer?

So confusing!

Anyway... glad to be here, and glad to be part of the E cigarette world! Bye-Bye Marlboro lights!

No idea. Never heard of the Veppo. Looking at the rebrander's site...

Which Veppo - they have a 510 and an Ego. Yes it is probably 510 compatible. The slim one should be able to use Boge 510 standard resistance cartomizers (around 3 ohm, not the 2 ohm ones). The fat Veppo Vetta should be able to use both the 3 ohm and the hotter 2 ohm that uses charge up faster. This does not mean your models are electrically compatible with real 510 chargers and vice versa - they probably are buy there is at least one 510 clone and one EGo clone that are reverse electrical polarity.

Warning - if you got the slim one that looks like auto batteries (no button, open hole in the threaded end?). Be extremely careful when filling cartomizers. Make sure the carto is not going to leak before putting it on your battery. Manual 510's and Ego's have a fully sealed metal threaded end and are safe from being damaged by juice leaks on the end of the battery.

See this thread about filling Boge cartos
