Hi there,
I already have seeked advice on this forum once, and would like to do again since I got helpful replies from very nice people
I was advised to try sub-ohm vaping, so I bought a Kangertech Top Box Mini Starter Kit and it is currently shipping. Since I am new to vaping, I researched about sub-ohm vaping and got a little scared. I've read several threads and articles about the risks of sub-ohm vaping and couldn't find myself being calmed, so I wanted to ask the questions that bother me the most here:
1. Since the Kangertech doesn't come with a battery, I've gone with a "Samsung INR 18650 30Q 3000 mAh Flat Top (unprotected)". I've read a few things about it, but do I really need a multimeter and a silicone storage box for the battery? I'm not questioning that these are useful, but would you recommend these to a beginner that just wants to try vaping?
2. About battery safety. This is fairly new to me, coming from batteries with all sorts of security mechanisms built-in, but should I, as a newb, get a seperate charging station for my battery? When I charge through the Top Box, are there any security mechanisms e.g. for overcharging?
3. I won't stop informing myself about sub-ohm and battery safety, but can you give me some quick tips on that? Just so I can check my knowledge about these things.
Thanks in advance,
Filip
