Hello Everyone I have been lurking aroud here for a while now, and figured it was time for me to join.I have been smoking for 20 years 2 packs a day and have been vaping now for about amonth or so and am down considerably but still smoking some. I am just trying to be gradual with it, because I have failed so many times being rigid about it. I bought a901 from alocal guy and have had tons of issues with it, so Im going to shop around and see if I can get another one instead of sinking any more money into this one.

Hi Xing and welcome to the forum.

Question, did you buy your 901 new or used? The reason I ask is the 3 vapers on my house all use the 901 and we love them. Maybe, if you bought yours used it was already on the downhill slide. NOt trying to change your mind about it or anything, just making a suggestion. The 901 is the only thing I've had experience with.

Nothing wrong with taking it slow. It's actually probably a good idea if being strict with it has failed you in the past.

I'm sure you will get better answers than any I can give you! Give it a little time and someone will get on here who knows more than I do about other models.

I bought a brand new Inlife. I know I paid too much for it, but it has always had smoke issues and Ive run in to people that had much better ones than me. My freind has a King of Vapor and it gags me when I try it. But he told me the guy dosent sell them anymore beacause customs arrested the guy or something. I see alot of different models on here and have been watching some reviews but there is an awful lot of information to go
throgh. Im surprised everyone is so helpful

If you want a PV that comes the closes in performance to the real thing, then you need to get a manual switch PV where you push a small button that allows you to heat the atomizer as long as you want (no cut off like the 901). They hold up much better, give good consistent throat hit and most of them have batteries that last 6-8 hours between charges. Here are your options:

Joye 510, Prodigy, Screwdriver, Janty Stick and GG.

Xing -- you will indeed get some good help here. I don't know about the 901 so I can't say, but I can say that I'm so happy with the Joye 510! Even with the automatic battery, though I also have one manual battery, which I like, too.

I'm sorry you've had problems. It was really great for me to not have any problems at the beginning, that my first experience was totally satisfying.

And I do agree with you about going gradually, if that is what suits you. That's what I'm doing right now. I'm getting used to the different sense of vaping on and off whenever I want, as opposed to having to go outside to have a five-minute cigarette, etc.

Having problems in the beginning sucks, it gives you the bad impression ya know.. I love my 901, but then again I don't think they are all the same, I think they are very inconsistent and you get the luck of the draw ya know? I think a manual switch is a pretty good bet, I can't speak from experience, but I think I am missing out... it's my next step... anyways there is tons of information to absorb on here, so I am sure you will be able to find something that suits your needs and makes it easier to get away from analogs :) good luck and welcome !
