Newbe here and E-Liquid Question

Hello all,
I am new not only to this forum, but also vaping. I have been using a Volcano set up with a tube tank (clearamizer) for a week now. And I am a week smoke free after 22 years!! I never thought it would be possible. I really enjoy vaping and find it to be very close to smoking. I have done some reading on this forum and appreciate not only the knowledge here, but also the courtesy be the members.
The question I have is about eliquids. I am currently using a menthol liquid that I purchased from the site that I bought the ecig from. But I can use any eliquid right?
I did a search and found juice for as little as $1.25 for a 15ml bottle. But I also know that you get what you pay for. So where so you get your juice? Any replies will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

yes you can use any ejuice. Juice is juice, you don't need to use the one that came with the order if you don't like it.

Juice is a very subjective thing, but you're right. You certainly do get what you pay for. You can use any juice you like.

Some important things to note:

PG/VG ratio - Most juices are a mix of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin. The PG component will make flavors more pronounced and provide better throat hit and is generally thin, while VG will make more vapor and tend to mute flavor and is thick.

Diacetyl - Make sure you don't use juice with this in it! This chemical is used in various creamy or buttery flavored foods, but is likely known to cause 'popcorn lung' when inhaled in large amounts. I believe that most juice vendors don't use it, but there are a few that do list it. Don't be afraid to ask them!

As far as my personal favorites, I mostly use juices from either Vapor 4 Life or Halo. Both have high quality standards, and the Halo juice is made in the US.

I've tried different juices from many places. Some are excellent, and some...not so much. Again, this is subjective. The shear variety of trying them is part of what I enjoy most about vaping!

First of all, welcome to the site CGuillory, I new here as well, but been vaping for close to a year now. From the research I have done and people who I have talked to, and if I am wrong guys, please correct me, but you can use any type of e-liguid but as with anything you buy, I am wary of cheap e-liguid. I got hold of some and it really messed up my Ego cartomizer up really bad. there are some good places to get some Liquid from, I have used Vapor pro and Volcano before

Check out the 'general eliquid discussion' forum. Taste is very subjective, and what works for someone else might not be your cup of tea, but terrible juices don't tend to have many glowing reviews.

Also, keep an eye out for sample packs. Many vendors will let you get 5ml bottles so you can try more flavors without breaking the bank.
And remember to let fresh juices steep - something you hate (or just don't care for) out of the box, can become your favorite after it's had some time to age.
