Sorry for the dumb question, but Search didn't answer my question.

I bought an E9 kit, and one of the batteries is already useless. This leaves me with a pile of E9 cartos and one battery...which my wife takes to work, God bless her. Can I somehow use my KR808 batts/passthru with E9 cartos? And please, don't tell me that they're the same. I just tried to screw an E9 carto onto a KR808; the '808 is just a tiny bit larger. Also, the E9 (Green Smoke, Red Dragon, e-cig.com E9) cartos lack the bottom airflow notches found on the KR808D-1 cartomizers.

Can someone please educate me on the following:

1. Are E9/Green Smoke equivalent to '510 atomizers and cartomizers?

2. Is there some kind of adaptor so I can use my two dozen E9 cartos on one of my KR808/VK batteries?

3. Aside from ecig.com, is there any U.S. distributor who sells batteries for the E9? Free/low cost shipping and low prices a plus, of course.

TIA. When I grow up to be a full member, I'll post questions like this in their appropriate categories.

Thanks for bumping. I have been looking all over. One thing I have discovered is that there are a few '510/'801 adaptors out there, but I've seen nothing for the E9/Green Cig. I'd hate to waste the E9 cartos I have; my wife won't want to use all the flavors, but I sorta like them and want to try (got a 40 flavor sample pack when I bought my E9 kit). So... hoping someone will come up with a solution.

I just thought of another question: The Kr808D-1 is the same as the V2Cig, Vapor King (VK) and probably a few others. Is the '801 equivalent to the Kr808?

I am getting so confused. Just learned that people make modified PVs using huge batteries. <grin> Man, this hobby (or whatever you'd call it) is more addictive than crack, golf or even Desperate Housewives of the O.C.D.

1. No
2. No
3. LeCig does. Or is this what you meant? Electronicash.com might as well.

I started with an E9 and it was lousy. Love my 808, though. My E9 was greensmoke and that might be why I hated it. Very inconsistent quality.

BTW, in your 2nd post. No 801 is not the same as 808.

Well, thanks to Cappadoc, I called Smokeless Cigarettes | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cig and asked the question.

Yes! Dee at LeCig informed me that their D2 batteries are E9 compatible. Their prices are fine, shipping is free...and their customer service rates an A+ in my book.

BTW, I tried their CigPig PV, and it rocks! It takes KR808D-1 cartomizers and really puts out the vapor. I am using it with V4L cartos, and so far, the results have been as good as I've experienced with a cartomizer. At around thirty bucks, it's a good buy for guys like me who won't carry a PCC and who don't drive (making a car adaptor/charger useless). I haven't charged it yet, and I've used it as my primary PV for the last 48 hours. Still vaping strong! .

Looks like E9 is compatible with KR808D-2 (not KR808D-1). Here is a thread you should read that includes a link to where you can buy adapters to use your e9 parts with 510 batteries. Then you could get a 510-battery to 808/901-atomizer adapter (99 cents at goodprophets.com) and use two adapters to be able to use your KR808D-1 batteries and passthroughs.

I checked out Vapure...the adaptor and shipping all in would be $6.50 or so. I also checked their cartomizers; they have very few choices and the cartos are very expensive at $3.25 each ($12.95 for a pack of four, only two flavors Regular and Menthol tobacco), and their site was tricky for a blind guy to navigate. Think I'll pass for now...but thanks very much for the info!
