Hello everyone!

I am new to vaping, and thanks to this forum (and all of you)- I have been able to make a much more informed decision on which e-cig to purchase. Regretfully, I have purchased a different brand prior to finding this forum, and was very disappointed with that previous purchase. Needless to say, I am now in the process of returning the product.

I had quit smoking about a month ago due to a severe case of bronchitis, but was badly in need of a nicotine fix. My GF's sister has a V4L starter kit, and urged me to try them. I was quite pleased with the product but she only had fruits, chocolate, and espresso carts so I wasn't 100% impressed. As an analog menthol smoker for 10 years, I was looking more for the menthol taste. I then ordered a different, more expensive brand- huge letdown!

Today, I received my first order from V4L and I am very happy. The Cool Cart Parlament, Kamel, and Dunhall Menthols are great! The Wow Nuport is the 4th cart in my case. I ordered three diamond batteries, and the quality of these batteries (so far) has been great. Thank you V4L!

Now to the questions:

1. In my first order from V4L, I received the wrong size batteries, and a dented case. I opened a ticket for them on their website not too long ago. How are they with these types of issues?

2. I have read a lot of people refilling carts. What are the advantages, and is it advisable for a newbie to do this?

Thank you so much for reading my post.

Happy vaping!

Ticket is the right way to go

Here's the Vapor4Life section of ECF. Once you have 5 non-spammed posts/replies in New Members and wait about an hour then you could post there and also PM one of their supplier accounts and ask about your ticket.

Refilling
Pro - means getting up to a 4-7 days or more use from one carto instead of 1/2 to 1 day.

Con - more danger of juice leaking a bit out the end of the carto no matter how careful you are. And always always remove the carto from the battery to add juice (and I never fill them blind with trick methods - I open the carto and see where I am putting juice, see that I have cleaned it up well). Any KR808D-1 battery can be damaged with leaked juice but it is much harder to damage a manual. If you bought auto batteries then you are more vulnerable to damaging or killing the battery if juice leaks. Autos are totally dependent on a drag sensor right inside the hole in the end of the battery.

Welcome! Many have already answered so I'll be brief. Sure a noob can refill cartridges and cartomizers. Its no big deal at all. Since you are presumably able to type on a keyboard, you have ample dexterity to refill a cart! If I can do it, anybody can. If you haven't already, give cartomizers a try. Generally easier to refill and not messy to change either. Well suited to just filling a few a go! You can also get a drip-tip for your atomizer for a nice treat. Not recommended for doing while driving though!

Welcome, JDVap3r!

Don't let all these folks scare you with their own personal preferences when it comes to vaping gear. They mean well :D

There are some tricks to refilling, but most folks can figure it out on their own. There are a ton of youtube vids where folks will show you how to do it, I suggest you watch a few for your model. Ignore the vids that tell you to mod your gear, you can worry about that later if you find a need.

I'll drink to your health now :toast:
