My name is Boobalou but you can call me Boo. It has been 4 months since I decided to quit my habit of 1+ pack of Winstons. Picking up am e-cig has been my savor in this fight for 30+ years. Feeling better and no new urges to light one back up. I am glad to be part of this forum and hope that I will be a welcome member of these worth while discussions

Congratulations. I "accidentally" quit smoking thanks to vaping. Just thought vaping would help me cut down...within about three weeks I was off cigs completely.

It seems like I have delved into this full heartedly, tasting different juices and trying different types of batteries, atomizers, and a few tanks. It seems to becoming more of a hobby, "The Quest For The Perfect Vape". Researching and web browsing. It has been enjoyable and with each click of the mouse and turn of the page, I learn something new. Someone always seems to be coming out with the latest and greatest. For now I will stick to my LAVA TUBE , my BOLT, and my little INFERNO

Congrats and welcome, Boo. I'm right there with ya on a couple of levels. Also a n00b and have made vaping every bit as much a hobby as a habit. The researching, tinkering, and experimenting are at least half of the fun.

Welcome Boo and congrats! This is definitely a hobby with all of the options out there. You are absolutely correct that ECF is a terrific place. Everyone is looking to help out and provide support when needed, as you've already done for me. Here's to a fun, interesting hobby full of great people and no stinkies!

I know I am supposed to be saving money by doing this, haha. At least I am not giving it to the Tobacco companies and I am feeling healthier. Maybe next year I will run a marathon.

That's definitely something to aim for. You'll save money in the long run, but just look at how much fun you're having buying new gear. I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting for a few places to get some more inventory so I can order more stuff. Moving up to a VV setup, and then after a while I'm sure I'll end up with a mod or two. It's just to tinker and play.

Ive spent quite a bit on mods and fluids in the beginning, but once you knw what you want and have settled down you'll be saving. i think ive saved this 2 weeks atleast 50 dollars to when i was smoking analogs. So cheers!
