Hi,
Okay. I've had some experience with the DSE901, M401, 510 and RN4081. Now I'm planning a longer term eval of a package of ecig stuff that I think will make me happy. And I'd like some expert opinion on it lest I go too far down a hole :)

Keeping this fun, I've come up with TWO kits. Each one will fit flatly in my pants pocket. One I call the "Titan Tin". The other I call the "Penguin Pouch".

THE TITAN TIN (my go-to kit)

1) "Tin" flat pocket case.

2) My Titans--two complete 510's.

THE PENGUIN POUCH (for "nights on the town", etc.)

1) Expensive-looking black leather pocket pouch.

2) My Penguin--one battery and one atomizer for a DSE901, M401 or RN4081. Along with one or more factory sealed, prefilled cartridges. All white except for black cartridge, of course :)

3) One or more spare batteries for my Titans.

4) One or more spare cartridges for my Titans.

5) One 3 ml bottle of juice, with eye-dropper, for topping off my Titans. Small enough to carry in my pocket with the Titan Tin if I want more frequent Titan top-offs.

6) Small pair of tweezers.

7) One "Wet One" or equivalent.

8) A few Q-tips.

At any one time, I will keep one kit in my pocket and one kit in my car. For a change of taste, I will use tobacco flavor in the Titans and Vanilla flavor in the Penguin.

The only only thing left is to use these for a while to determine exact amount of spare parts/cartridges I need to carry.

So what do you experts think of all this?

Thanks,
:) Dave W.

This is the model I use with my passthrough:

Kensington K38021US Portable Power Pack For Mobile Devices

I had a usb car adapter but it died, so I just run straight off the power pack when driving or away from home. I also use my passthrough at home on my computer, so the only time I use my regular stock battery is if I want to remain extra inconspicuous, or if I'm out walking around somewhere and don't want to deal with a dangling wire.

I agree, a Kensington is a solid investment and a necessity to me. I use a Janty Stick and the Kensington fits into the front pocket of my purse for the car or just being out and about. It slips easily in my jean pocket for gardening etc. Sure saves on batteries.

BTW I love your avatar. I am an artist, love fantasy art and Linda Ravenscroft is one of my idols, love the Phoenix!

WDave thanks for sharing. I too, am having fun with my new hobby! Thinking back to my analog days and how I mindlessly puffed one after another, now seems "icky" LOL. Now, I enjoy thinking about what I want to vape and I take the time to enjoy it, guilt free. Happy Puffin!:thumb:

Sorry to be a little close minded, but honestly...I'm having trouble picturing me waving to a cute blonde in the car next to me when I have a wire coming out of my mouth. I do drive a sports car, you know.

My wife would probably like the idea :)

I did think about what you guys are using. I think it would be cool if there were a car charger/battery combo that allowed me to drop the ecig into the charger between vapes (while I'm driving). You know, like some electric razor chargers. I suppose there would be no more LED, as that end of the ecig would have to drop into the charger.

FYI: It looks like my Penguin is going to be a DSE901. This was my first ecig and I had given up on it because of failing parts. But I do have some of the atomizers and batteries that seem to be working OK. And the DSE901 does have a wonderful drag--hard to beat. And I can easily refill/topoff all the cartridges.

Thanks for input so far. I'm still open to suggestions....

:) Dave
