Newbie... Anyone here vaped 0mg e-liquid?

Hi everyone, new to the forums here, and fairly new to vaping as well. But like the title says, has anyone here vaped 0mg e-liquid? If so, do you get that "chest hit" feeling, or is it more as just breathing in air? If that makes sense lol . Any info on 0mg would be great as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks ahead of time.

I've not tired any 0mg juice yet, although planning on dropping down to 3mg next month after over a year of vaping.

I'm just going through the process of setting myself up with everything I need for DIY so might end up having a few 0mg juices.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, I've been using the 6mg? ever since I quit smoking. But that's in an e-cig though lol, so I don't know if there's a difference there or not? I just want to have the "look/feeling" of smoking without the "chest hit" feeling, or the least amount of that I can get.

When I tried 0mg (my shop was out of my favorite flavor in 6mg and 3mg), It was just like breathing air for me. I felt almost nothing, and my draw was a lot larger than when I hit 6 or 3mg. I was hitting this on a 0.27ohm 2 coil build in a Mutation X v2, if that makes any difference to you. (Mutation has tons of airflow, and best flavor out of any RDA I've tried thus far.)

I find the "Chest hit" comes primarily from VG. (I call it "lung presence"). Not throat hit, but that feeling that there's something in your lungs besides just air.

I carry around a bottle of both 2mg and 0mg. I'm still in the process of quiting smoking. So i still get the craving, but really it's become a hobby now.

I do get chest hits every now and then with both the 0mg and 2mg. I've notice for me with my tank i get chest hit feeling more when it's a fresh atty or one on it's last leg.

Beyond that I hardly ever get that feeling.

I actually tried a 0mg e-liquid 50/50 blend yesterday that I received as a free sample from Mt. Baker Vapor.
I have always vaped the tobacco flavored e-liquids at 1.8mg and up until yesterday I had never tried any other flavor (fruits, candy, etc)
I found with the 0mg you don't get that distinct peppery 'hit' (not sure how to describe it) in the back of your throat (kinda like a 'heat' or much 'hit' at all for that matter, not like you do with the e-liquids containing nicotine anyways.

I have to admit, I actually enjoyed the overall 'taste'. (my tongue area) It was a very mild, not overly sweet taste (it was called Happy Rancher, lol...and actually tasted very much like a very 'light' version Jolly Rancher Candies) I think 'adding' nicotine to this particular flavor would ruin that...not sure, but it's actually a flavor I would consider buying just to 'enjoy' here and there even at a 0 mg.
Right now though I'm still very much nicotine dependent so if I were to use a 0mg, it would probably be just an occasional thing for right now until I can wean myself off nicotine all together, which is what I ultimately want to do

Thanks for the quick replies everyone!!!! You guys have definitely answered my question, and more!! Might as well ask this too lol, I have a nautilus mini tank, and which would be better to vape, VG, PG, or 50/50? I have read that if you vape 100% VG it can possibly "gum" up some tanks?

I do not have a nautilus my self, but one of my friends do.

He uses a 30/70 mixture. He tired the pure VG and PG bases, but they "Tasted funky" is what he told me.

So then is he using 30% VG and 70% PG or the other way around? I'm assuming the mixture doesn't taste "funky" then in the Nautilus?

No it's the other way around. 30% PG and 70% VG. He really likes the taste and vapor production form that base. When I run that mixture in my set up I get a funky taste, but I'm running a .8omh coil in my tank. where as he is running a 1.6omh.

So I run a 50/50.

I've been using 1.8ohm Aspire BDC coils (bottom dual coils)...with different e-liquids. 50/50 blend & 80vg/20pg blend.
I've been using the same coil now for 7 days with no problems. I rinsed the coil once, basically just rinsed it under the faucet and let is dry overnight, along with my tank.
I'm waiting for my glass tank to come in so I'm using 'plastic' clearo's so i'm hoping that the taste, even though it's not bad currently, will be even better with the glass tank. I heard the glass tanks really make a huge difference.

I would try 50/50 first. 100%VG may not wick nicely and you could get some "dry hits". 100% PG may leak.

I'll have to look into that, I know they make a glass replacement for the Nautilus mini. Do you guys have any places that you prefer to buy your e-liquids?

I am currently vaping 0mg and I can say that for the most part... yes... there is not much throat hit nor chest hit. it's a very smooth, mild feeling but no "hit", for me anyhow.

This is a tough one to answer since there are sooo many vendors coupled with the vast individuals tastes, it's really hard to recommend any one vendor without knowing what your preferences are.
What are your favorite styles (Bakery, dessert, drinks, tobacco, etc...)

Hi Bigge and welcome. I use the Nautilis mini with 70/30 12 mg juice and since I chain vape pretty much 24/7 I use 50/50 0 mg in a second tank and alternate Vapes between the two. I am quite happy with this setup
