Newbie diamond coil in KayFun clone

I am a new non-smoker/ vaper so unsure if this is the correct place to post this or not.
Mods please move if there is a better location for this.

I have always been mechanical, and into how things work, rebuilding, redesigning, and generally tinkering with anything I can get my hands on. Why should vaping be any different?

So.....Been an ex-smoker for 20 days now after 29 years of cancer sticks, and already into mech mods, and wrapping my own coils.
Been doing just a ton of research as well as watching whatever I can find on youtube (Rip Tripper ROCKS in this regard).
I have done micro coils flat, and chimney, dual micros as well as messed with twisted wire coils but this is the first time I tried anything like this.

Mainly just wanted to see if I could do it, and find out what style coil best suits my tastes.

Thought I would share it with you.

4 coils @ 3 wraps per coil 28ga around a .052 drill bit torched, tidied up, and shaped.

Man that's tiny!

I have found on the micro coils I like about 1.2-1.4 ohms on a mech mod so aimed for about in that range.

Not bad.

Mounted, and wicked after a dry burn, and more fiddling with position.

Test burn with juice (lemon cake to be exact)

My thoughts (from a newbie's prospective).
Warmer vape than the 1.3 ohm Chimney style micro coils I have been using, and increased throat hit.
Flavor is much more intense though. :D
It does gulp the liquid :(
For me I think I will change back to the micro coil but this nano diamond might find it's way into my RDA. :2cool:

Open to thoughts from others that may have run this style coil in a kayfun, and want to know what they thought of the vape.
