Hello Vapers! I'm a newbie here just trying to figure out my way around posting here. I had my last stinky analog on Black Friday and have been in Vapor Heaven ever since. Though there was a bit of a transition initially, (mostly equipment issues and vaping technique and PG issues) after 40+ years of 2 PAD, I found the entire switch from smoking to vaping to be remarkably painless..... almost too easy; hah! Sometimes, I'll still get the occasional thought of something like "Where's my ashtray or my lighter?," but then quickly remember I am now a non-smoker and don't need all that crap.:) I have happily settled in with a few Spinners, some Aspire and Kanger glassomizers and a LOT of juice. Lots of juice,LOL, though I think I've finally found my vendor and my favorite juices. Now perhaps, I can finally stop spending so much and enjoy my new, much healthier obsession.

For all the seasoned pros here, you advice has been key in my transition and I wish to thank each and every one of you! I've been glued to these boards for the last seven weeks and couldn't have made it without all the knowledge freely shared here.

Hah, I have seen the *ghost* a few times, mostly in the form of looking for an ashtray or a lighter;really weird, eh? Once in awhile, I'd still like a nice hit of tobacco, but can't seem to find a good 100% VG with decent flavor. The search continues, though sometimes I'm not sue why since I really enjoy all the flavors I've found.

Inspects, thank you! I had great motivation; a false-alarm heart-attack scare.

Oh goodness! Glad to hear it was a false alarm!

Congrats on making the switch. :) I still have a few old emergency packs stashed around the house, but now that I had a few backup tanks get here I think I'm ready to toss them. Just frustrating that I had so many packs left when I quit, but I won't ever go back so they need to go. I'm still surprised every time I read about multiple PAD smokers being able to switch to vaping. It's a huge accomplishment, so feel free to give yourself a pat on the back! :)

Thanks Mack, there's been lots of self back-patting here.:) I just wish I had done this a few years ago, ya know? But, I have a clean bill of health for now and hopefully, I haven't made the switch too late.

I had 7 packs of very expensive Taxachusetts cigs left when I finally quit. I held onto them for two weeks....just in case. It killed me to toss all that money in the trash (almost 9 bucks a pack) but....it had to be done. When I actually tossed them, I found it very liberating. I tossed all the ashtrays and lighters at the same time. I knew I'd neve go back, so holding onto them was just neurotic in my case.
