Newbie from Michigan

Hi, newbie to the forum but been vaping for about a year. I first bought my e cig kit from Hoosier e cig. It was a kgo and it was a great investment and later found out it was one of the best bang for the buck e cigs out there. I've been smoking for only about a year and a half but it escalated to the point where I was up to almost 3 packs a week. Although that isn't much compared to the pack-a-day smokers, I had a very healthy, athletic background so coming from that background, it was definitely taking a toll on my body and mind. I have been switching from analogs and e cig lately because I haven't had the fund to buy new liquid and accessories but hope to be making some orders soon.

ps. Is anybody having a problem with the 40%off discount code for vapedudes? I tried it yesterday at 4 and it didn't work but saw they have a daily limit. I then tried it after midnight and then again at 11am but no luck. I have never used it before as I am a first time buyer from them.

Also, are there any michigan meets? I've only seen one other vapor so far and it was at HFCC. It was a girl with what looked to be a pink lava tube.

Hey hatch, welcome to the forums and glad you could make it. Me personally, I have never heard of any vendor to offer a 40% coupon/ promo code but I could be wrong. If Vapedudes have a discount like this, I might just order from them right now

As far as the promo code, it's a one time code for new customers and I've read some great reviews on flavors I think I'd like. I hope they respond to me soon.

ps. The code has a daily limit on it so only a certain number of customers can use it per day. I think they did this because of the high volumes during the holidays

Hi eg_hatch. I live in Chicago, but was recently in Holland, MI visiting family and was pleasantly surprised to see that Freedom Smoke USA has opened a retail store there. If you happen to live in that area you may want to stop in or call them and chat with them. I don't know if they'd be aware of any meets, but they are friendly and I'm sure if they have that information they'd be happy to share it with you. If you go by their store you can always sample some of their juices too. No, I'm not affiliated with them, but so far they are my favorite supplier of juices.

Yea, I've heard that more vapors/stores are on the west side of michigan. Sadly, I'm on the east side. There isn't any vape stores here either, just some tobacco stores that sell cheap e-cigs that you can also find at gas stations. There was one around 30min away but appareantly it's closed. If they have good liquids, I may have to make a trip there one day. Thanks for letting me know!

Any stores in chicago? I go there about 2 times a year

Hello there fellow Michigan Vapor.....after much research there are a few options in Michigan.
There is Revolver Vapor Lounge (Revolver E-Cigs) in Monroe and they carry ego style batteries, cartos, tanks, tips,and juice. They have some pretty decent juice flavors, biggest hurdle is finding it in stock as they don't make it there but get it from their main location in Toledo, OH.

I also just found out that Great Lakes Vapor in Farmington is now making their own juice on site, so you can go there and get juice made to order, however this isn't listed on their website. According the Jay I think that's who I spoke with - they will be launching a seperate site for the juice. As far as accessories at GLV ..not sure. I plan on going there today or tomorrow to try some juice.

Lastly Ahulusion which is about an hour drive (Flint area/Swartz Creek)....isn't currently open (brick and mortar) but hopefully they will. They have some outstanding juice from what I understand. He is awaiting FDA hearing ramifications before opening up, but you can still buy from his website. Hope this helps.
