Hi, I have been vaping for 2 weeks and have only had 3 fags in that time! I have developed a severe sore throat, so painful I can't swallow! I am using hangsen 70/30 liquid. Someone suggested trying a liquid higher in vg so I ordered some 30/70 vg liquid. 2 hours after using the new e liquid, the plastic mouthpiece cracked and broke on my smok aro. The same happened on my spare aro. I have gone back to hangsen liquid and have a major sore throat. I am drinking loads. Is it just because of giving up smoking or the vaping process please. Thanks x

sorry, but to answer your question. You could have a reaction to the PG, you could not be drinking enough water or you could be just dealing with the crap collected in your lungs from smoking and it is being cleared.

I am personally going to try to sterilize all of toppers before use moving forward but that is also a possibility. With manufacturing in China, there are no "medical grade" standards being followed and machine oil, human contact, metal debris from manufacturing can all be left on these products.

It will, You need to get a Pyrex tank so you don't have to worry about the tank cracking/breaking on ya with certain juices. As for the soar throat, You might be allergic to PG in the juices. You just might be one of the very few that This happens to, Try using 100%vg and see how that works on you, if not 100% 80VG20PG to start. It's unfortunate that you got that though, I am sorry to hear. All can be fixed though so don't worry about it, Get better and try again!

If it worked for me it can work for you!

Take care, hope you feel better soon!

Stick with it. I had the same problems. Higher vg will help and try lowering the nic (this helps a lot ). Try sucking on halls and drink plenty of water. Your throat will get better, mine did. Now I can handle nic and pg with no problem. I think the soar throat is a side effect of giving up the fags. Your throat is healing from years of smoking and the nic and pg are irritating it.

Congrats........same deal here. 22 years of smoking and actually accidentally quit with vaping. I just wanted to smoke in bars. It is super easy to quit this way and my suggestions as you will see here are: have back-ups to your back-ups to your back-ups, try different things (juice, toppers, batteries and any other combinations). There are so many customization and your experience will differ from others. Most of these items are cheap by comparison so trying a $7 topper to see if you like it isn't going to hurt anything if you don't like it.

Apple pie shouldn't crack your tank honestly. Maybe try contacting who you bought them from, maybe they were defective. I am PG sensitive and even 50/50 makes my throat hurt as an FYI.

Hi Tralab, I had the same problem as you. In my case it turned out to be the nicotine level. I smoked ultra-light cigs before (10-15/day) and started vaping at 12mg/ml. At first I had all kinds of problems (head, stomach, throat), after lowering the nic level to 6mg/ml all bacame good again. But as it says in the other posts, it might also be the PG. Nearly everyone I talked to had some kind of issues after switching to vaping. For different reasons (PG, Nic, Hardware, wrong inhaling technique), or some for no reason at all.
