Hey everyone!

Im about to ask loads of questions, sorry some may have been answered individually, iv had a bit of a brows but getting involved and asking felt the right thing to do.

So! i used to be pretty fit and had a good singing voice, and all that went way downhill when i moved to London and took up smoking, im only 24 and doing something about it now seemed pretty sensible. so one ikonin iTaste VV later and im convinced this is the way out of the nicotine + carcinogens trap that is cigarettes.

I still have loads of questions that i just cant seem to find answers for, so I'm going to bullet point them and any help would be awesome!

- How long should a clearomiser last?
i got two with my kit, but i have lost the invoice so i don't know what they are, and they seem to be getting a little, used? leading into my next question:

- How do you know when your coils all burned out?
is there a subtle taste or change? or can you just keep going until it puts out something really quite gross and obviously dead?

- any standard maintenance?
should i give the unit a break every so often, are there any simple things that you guys have heard of breaking devices?

-whats an atomiser and why do some things have wicks and not others?
im a bit embarrassed to ask this, i'm a pretty intelligent guy, but i don't fully understand the technology and i'm confused :p the main source of this confusion is that the ikonin iClear 30 looks pretty cool and is has the same format of my current clearomiser, but the Aqwa Protank (also looking pretty cool) doesn't seem to use wicks? i'm really sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks for reading! again sorry if i'm re-treading old ground, i'm not very good at scouring forums for information, i think there must be a knack i haven't got.

On a side note, sitting here vaping to Daft Punks Random Access Memories, y'all need to get listing to that!

thanks again.

Don't be embarrassed its a lot to take in.
Even the experienced people learn new things every day.

1) You will know when your clearomiser takes a poop when the flavor starts to taste burnt.

2) If a coil burns out its simply wont fire anymore

3) Length of use will vary based on use. If your chain vaping coils and cartos will obviously last less time.

4) Its a good idea to check your battery connection from time to time. If you see any ejuice wipe her off and vape on :D

- How long should a clearomiser last? depends on fast you use em...or how frequent you vape...
i got two with my kit, but i have lost the invoice so i don't know what they are, and they seem to be getting a little, used? leading into my next question:

- How do you know when your coils all burned out? easy, they will give you a harsh burn..compared to the usual...and the flavor kinda deminishes...is there a subtle taste or change? or can you just keep going until it puts out something really quite gross and obviously dead? sometiimes you just hear a small pop then no more smoke, sorry trying to recall..been using rebuildables for a while now.

- any standard maintenance?
should i give the unit a break every so often, are there any simple things that you guys have heard of breaking devices?WHich of the actual ecig?or atomizers?

-whats an atomiser and why do some things have wicks and not others?

I just made bold of what I can answer...

quick tip...
if you have the dough for it,just go right straight to rebuildables...will save you lotsa cash in the long run..as far as the units are concerned..just pick one you like, and read review too...
after market support is a big thing...

uh,m...
then pick the right juice,...
usually that is where some people go wrong on the level of nic,,,

I am relatively new, but I tend to watch GrimmGreen's videos or pbusardo's videos to learn a lot. Trust me there is a lot of trial and error and I am still learning. I also have an iTaste and the best thing I can tell you is when you are not using it turn it off (I don't know if the battery trickles when it is on but not in use). I used to vape before and III BIRDMAN III is right you will know when to replace and when it is dead carto wise. If you are a chain vaper then you will get less time out of your cartos or tanks. It is again a lot of trial and error, you will learn a bunch of stuff along the way. Checking battery connections is also a must from time to time. I tend to check them every time I unscrew my tank or carto just to make sure it is ok and dry. Hope you are doing well in your new hobby. I am thoroughly enjoying this myself. You are right, cigarettes are a trap of tar and death. Vaping is much more personal to you and it is easier to pick what you want and when you want. Thanks for posting you are helping me as well in my learning process.
