Welcome Elgar.

Not everyone has the same addiction to nicotine. Some folk need to smoke 40 to feel normal, others only 5.

If you've got a 16mg e-cig and don't seem to be having problems with cravings using it just 20 puffs a day, then I would say you are very lucky about that.

I smoked 15 rollies a day and a 24mg cig-a-like did not work for me. Maybe you are using mind over matter and beating the evil tobacco!! :)

..oh, by the way... your e-cig isn't producing too much nicotine.. so don't worry about that...

what sort is it? refillable with a tank or plastic cigarette style?

Just IMO.......

You may be holding the smoke in longer than some..... The way VAPOR works, is when you let the vapor roll through your mouth and nose SLOWLY you get more out of your vape pen/mod/box.

The slower you inhale and exhale, the more satisfaction of nicotine you will get.

You don;t actually NEED to inhale the vapor into the bottom of your lungs for you to get your nicotine.......just letting it slowly roll out of your mouth, or french inhale, will get you great satisfaction of nicotine.

(Example, people get Nictoine from dipping by simply placing the tobacco in their gums)

You get your Nicotine by absorbtion, not necesarilly inhaling like a freight train, but I do when I hook up my drip tank so because I like it lol. But when I use my protank and aerotank setups, I usually take a big mouth hit, and french inhale as long as I can, and exhale slowly..... I was a 2pack a day smoker, I used 22mg nicotine for only about 2 weeks then went on down to 6mg to try and see if my levels could drop and never looked back. The day I started vaping, I never craved one cigarette, never got grumpy, just started feeling healthier.

its refillable with a tank, strawberry flavour at the moment...its an electro lite ecig....dont know the specs of it but you can see it on electro-light.co.uk

Not bad.. Cheap and cheerful..

Gold leaf tobacco - rolling?

In that case... I am impressed. No cravings? No mood swings? Keep it up! :)

Yes, using a vaporizer is really flexible and many find a hobby in it. Cigs were sooo boring. Since vaping can be tailored to the user, it can really help to slowly, and without withdrawals, get away from cigs.

I like to vape a pastry in the evenings, but I use a lower nic so I can vape more.

My doctor says things are better, and, so does my dentist. Took me about a month to get taste and smell back, but is very worth it.

Again, welcome to ECF!

How many mgs you get in each puff depends on how many puffs it takes for you to get through a ml of juice, and the nic level of that juice.

The initial quitting is easy because you have enough nicotine to keep you from withdrawing... I find that after a week or two it is the nagging addiction to the other chemicals in cigarettes that get you.

Glad your doing well... and by the way... My last name is Lotridge, do you know of any Lotridge's in scottland... apparently its where my family is from.

to ecf elgar36 . So glad you are here and a big congrats on the vaping. I couldn't believe how easy it was either but don't question it, just be thankful. At 16mg nic you are getting a fair amount of nic. Although the molecules in vapor are very much different than all the other chemicals you are use to in cigarettes. If you are doing so well, you may consider lowering your nic if you want to. I started out using higher nic and have even increased mine. Whatever it takes to keep content and not go back to smoking. Continued success to you and I look forward to reading more about you and your journey.
