Doing the "Hello World" post lol.. New to vaping. Started with gas station Claytons. worked/tasted fine, but batteries died WAY too fast. got 4 batteries and still ran into dead battery issues, then there's the cart prices ugh..

Week into that, got 2 Foos ego clone kits. since then added variable battery and several different clearomizers..

want to find good tank/cart set, and get a pancake globe for flavor testing.

Also need to find flavoring for DIY similar to the Foos tobacco, VaporX classic tobacco, or clayton's tobacco even.. (sweet, almost nutty mild tobacco flavor) (wanted to try Blu, as had people rave about it, but those prices, <insert minnion voice> "um, no...."</minnion voice>

Wife is an ex smoker and found those zero nic flavored disposables, we've been playing around and making zero nic 100% vg flavors. well, almost 100%, the flavoring changes the percentage, but pg vs vg base, it's 100% vg lol.. is UBER cheap! Pinapple, yummmmmmmm.. lol..

There's no real vape shops around, and I'm on the road most of the time, so it's hard to experiment, and it seems I don't like 95% of flavors out there. Anyone know decent shops off I94, I65, I80 in Il, In, MI that I could get a semi into? (no strip mall places lol)

oh and as seen asked elsewhere on here, the claytons are indeed 510 thread, but shallow!! you can use 510 tanks/carts/etc on clayton batteries, but a clayton carto will not make contact in an ego. Would a 510-510 adapter fix that? *shrug* need to find out, I like the clayton flavor decent enough, and they're everywhere on the road should I run out.. :p

and thirdly (lol), there needs to be an easier way to be able to post on here!! :) like donating or something to bypass this minimum post count/spam bot check thing. ended up here looking for answers, found the same questions, and can't post my answers until the system has a post count to show I'm not a bot lol. understandable, but it really bites!! /RANT

Hot Vapes or Smoque in Chicago have some good juices, i believe that Hot Vapes uses 100%VG they have some great flavors and let you sample them in the shop.... Not sure how far off the beaten path that would be for you but figured i would give you an idea if you were headed through Chicago

I'm "through" Chicago regularly, problem is if it's not close to a freeway I travel, is hard with low bridges, tight neighborhoods etc to just go wandering about lol.. Did I forget to mention I drive a semi, yup looks like i did lol. I usually go around on 294, 290 etc (Belvidere - Detroit) But now I have a couple names to look up and put in gps and see how far in city i need to go, Thanks.
