Hello, I have just started vaping to quit smoking cigarettes and want to make it into a hobby eventually cutting down the nicotine levels from 12mg to 0mg. Anyways today is my first day and has gone rather well I love vaping in my house because I never smoke indoors cause I consider it nasty (personal opinion) and I don't like how it smells up the house and makes me break out and my parents wouldn't visit otherwise also it sticks to the walls so I've always smoked outside and so have my parents and I have chosen to do so also. So anyway to my question I have purchased my first vape pen to start out with the "SMOKE Vape Pen 22" since it was on sale and why not for my first device. Problems have already arrived the vape pen leaks and vapor comes out of the air holes when I tip it to the side or vape it unless it's perfectly straight up and it's been like that since I first got it and I have been messing with the atomizer where the coils are and I believe I have messed them up further. Here are some pictures I've taken with my phone so you can get a better idea of what I should do. Also if I do have to fix it can I keep the same coil and will regular cotton work as well or does it have to be organic? Sorry, for the long post and I would really appreciate some advice on what I should do thank you in advance for helping me

I don't think there are any pens that do not have this problem. You don't ever want to set your vape on its side unless you have your airflow closed (most pens do not have adjustable airflow) because it will leak. There are exceptions to this such as the Kanger Nebox which is actually the opposite problem, but as a general rule of thumb you should keep your mod standing up.
The vapor coming out of the airflow is nothing to worry about. It is probably being caused because it can't escape through the top. This happens when you don't inhale strongly enough or when you stop inhaling before you let go of the button.

If your going to stick with vaping I highly suggest getting a better device. A lot of the cheaper pen mods will leak, especially if left on its side. I would suggest maybe going to a local vape shop and have them set you up with something a little better. You can get a decent set up these days under $50 that will perform a lot better.

I agree, even something with a small tank like the older t-3 tanks. Those too will leak if under 1/3 full but, easy to refill before that happens.

I do have a NEBOX, I love it but, again, you need to lay it down on it's side and, keep it filled above 1/3 to prevent leaks - I suspect that is a Kanger tank thing.)
