I am so new to liquid nicotine that I am afraid of putting too much in. I put in like 4 drops. Thanks for such a quick answer!!! So many questions.
If you have 24mg strength or higher, I would suggest not drinking it.
Getting a little juice in your mouth won't hurt you though.
But it might be wise to spit it out anyway.

If you have 48mg strength or higher, you might not want to soak your fingers in it for too long.

Other than that, there's nothing to worry about.

the answer to your original question would depend on which device you are using.
Ah, maybe now I see what is being asked...

You put as much as the filler material in the cartridge will hold without pooling at the top of the filler material. The number of drops, as the previous poster was saying, will depend on how big your cartridge is, which depends on your model.

The problem is, if you are just putting drops right on top of the filler material that comes with the cartridge, it isn't going to sink to the bottom without a little help. You can use a syringe, the straw modification, or you can use a toothpick or paper clip to push the filler aside a little bit so that it can breath while you are putting in the drops.

Some people use a needle tipped dropper bottle.

And I have found that if you replace the stock filler material with blue foam, you can actually put the drops right in if you tilt the cartridge to the side while doing so, but that is probably a bit more than you want to bite off and chew right now.

It sounds to me like you're asking if you'll OD if you put too much liquid in the cartridge. IF that's the question, then no. The atty is going to vaporize whatever is wicked to it from the cartridge filler. I think the concern would be what strength of nicotine is in the liquid your using and how often you vape. The higher the strength and the more you vape, the more nicotine you will absorb into your system. Much like smoking cigarettes, too many strong cigarettes in a short period of time could make you feel funny.
You will, however, want to keep as much juice as you can in the cartridge so the atty doesn't burn dry. This can shorten the life of the atomizer and give a nasty taste.
