I've been vaping with my new atomizers that came with the eGo 1300mAh kit from vaporheads.net since yesterday afternoon and all night long (and I'm one of those who was committed to using only cartomizers and never atomizers). The extra vapor, flavor, and throat hits using this atomizer is great! And I don't mind dripping 3 drops into the atomizer every few minutes. It's quick, and I don't have to bother with cartos (until there's a time when it's not convenient for me to drip). I won't be using the cartridges that came with the kit. They're worthless and a pain.

1. Ego kit consisting of:

2 batteries
2 atomizers
1 or 2 cones
wall and usb charger
cloth carrying case
5 empty or prefilled cartridges
1 absolutely worthless instruction manual

For hardware, I recommend Cignot.com. They also have sample juice you can order. The prefilled carts that come with the kit will probably only get you through 1 or 2 days. Don't judge all juice by the prefilled, they are not too good.

Order some juice the same day you order your Ego kit from one of the following:

Freedomsmokeusa
Vapor Station (Sampler pack available, 10 different flavors of your choice for $25.00)
Litecigusa
or one of the other suppliers listed in the supplier forum

Some of those items are optional, but I'm sure Tracy knows that: cones, cloth carrying case, cartridges, instruction manual, wall charger (but I'd rather plug the USB cable into a wall charger).

I've never bought juice from Cignot. They specialize in hardware and not juice. I didn't see any regular 510 atomizers at Cignot. I saw only the Mega type that some people don't care for.

I bought juice once from litecigusa. Again, they specialize in hardware and not juice. I didn't care for their USA Mix.

Whew, I was off checking out the links and such and when I got back to respond, there were 3 more replies! Let's see if I can answer...

ShanB, thank you for your advice and the warm welcome here. I like it already!

Deback, I have one question for you. Do I purchase an eGo "kit" AND those parts you've provided the links to? Or am I purchasing parts to build a kit??? I'm sorry if that sounds idiotic!!! lol Thank again for your help.

Bozzlite, Thank you for the warm welcome and for the sample of what my first order should look like. I get on those sites and feel so lost with all of the parts and such! LOL @ 1 absolutely useless instruction manual!!!! =D

I edited my long msg just a minute ago to add a paragraph at the top. Please check that out. I'm not advising or recommending that you buy those parts. I just thought I'd list what I bought late last night for a friend, who just started vaping the 900mAh batteries I received in the mail yesterday (from GoodProphets.com...which is also a good place to check before you buy anything). I think I forgot to check there when I was going all over checking prices last night, but I can't remember for sure. I think I did check some things there, and he was out of stock on certain items or something, so I continued on to the next site. It can be a very time-consuming project checking prices all over the place trying to find what you should buy. (And I was trying to buy the items I already own and really like, as if I was buying them for myself.)

The links I listed are to buy the individual parts to have longer-lasting batteries than what you can buy in a kit. Those batteries will last several hours longer before they need to be recharged. So, it's up to you (and your financial situation) if you'd rather buy a 650mAh kit or buy the individual parts. It really depends on how long you want the batteries to last before having to recharge them -- and how often you're going to be vaping.

Good luck, Tracy!

If money is a concern for you, then check Liberty-Flights.com, Cignot.com, litecigusa.net, and goodprophets.com for their eGo 650 kits. The price for the kit will be cheaper than the items I listed. Everything in the kit will be about the same, except for a shorter life of the batteries before needing to be recharged.

Free shipping at Cignot when orders are over $59.
Free shipping at litecigusa when orders are over $75.
Liberty-Flights coupon code is ECF. I don't know what their shipping fees are, since I've never ordered from them. (Try to order from companies closer to Michigan..)
GoodProphets shipping fees - can't remember.

There's also Arctic Vapor, which I've never bought from and know nothing about, except I've seen some new people here have ordered from them. You might do a search for "arctic vapor" here to see if they're a registered supplier and possibly find some reviews.

Here's their eGo kits page:
eGo kits : Arctic Vapor, Personal Vaporizers & Handmade E-liquids

Here's a stainless 1300mAh kit for $56.96, which is about what I just paid for my 1300mAh kit from vaporheads.net...and I really like that kit. The full length of this is 7 inches, with the atomizer and drip tip. It's sleek looking and feels good holding it. :)

Here's a black 1300mAh eGo:

EDIT: Just found a coupon code: ARCTIC15 (but don't know if it's still valid). Found it in the following thread:

Yes- Cignot does sell the atomizers for the 510's- I buy all of my hardware and spare parts from them. I believe though that they are only listed as black? I wanted the pink ones to match my batteries, so I just specified that in the comments section of the order form and they sent them to me. I love Cignot- excellent customer service and great prices, especially on the starter kits. The only juice that I got from them was Cherry Cola and Cappuccino. I didn't care too much for either of them, but I've heard people say on the forums that they love the Ecopure English Toffee.
I LOVE my 510's!!
So far, I've only ordered my juice from Freedomsmokeusa. Great flavors and excellent prices, especially if you catch their sales. My favorite juices from them, as of now: fireball, almond joy, caramel cream, banana cream pie. Their juice does need to steep for about a week or two, so keep that in mind and order ahead. I'm pretty sure most juice suppliers are the same way, especially if they say that they hand mix each order.

The only atomizers I could find at Cignot were the tapered kind with the mouthpiece included, similar to what the eGo Mega cartos look like. I could have missed them, though.

Thank you so much deback! I've just ordered from Arctic Vapor. Everything except the stainless drip tip as they do not carry it. Off to find some yummy (hopefully) VG juices! I appreciate all of everyone's help here and crossing my fingers that it all works out. I am sure you haven't heard the last of me!!! =)

Hope you're satisfied with what you bought, Tracy! Also, if you ever need drip tips or cartomizer/battery adapters (like to use different threaded cartos on your batteries), goodprophets.com has them for 99 cents each. I just recently started using the metal drip tips (and the stainless steel drip tip from litecigusa), and they're so much more comfortable in my mouth than the mouth end of cartomizers or cartridges. Don't like the Delrin plastic drip tips, though. Those are harder to push into the end of the atomizers or cartomizers, and I'm not fond of the way they curve so much.

The price on the 1300mAh eGos is very good at Arctic Vapor. Those are hard to find, and they're long, too, but I haven't had any problem getting used to the extra length.

Once again, I can't thank you enough for taking the time this morning to help me out the way you did, even though you were on your way to bed, you still took the time for me and I appreciate it. =)
Since you're back, I haven't yet ordered the ss drip tip. I am assuming it makes dripping juice in a bit easier?Which part does this take the place of and how helpful is it exactly? TIA

Does FSUSA allow you to choose vg/pg mixes as well? I am a bit pg- scared, as the two previous attempts from other ecig companies came with prefilled pg carts and I can't vape them. (choke to death)

I enjoyed it, Tracy. I couldn't get to sleep, anyway.

I never thought I'd need a drip tip, but I bought the SS one over a week ago, just to have one and to get my order over $75, so I'd get the free shipping. Anyway, I found that I love it, but I don't use it to drip, because I can't do it very well without getting a little juice in my mouth sometimes (the juice has to drain down through the drip tip, and it can be a slow process, with some juice remaining at the top of the drip tip). I remove the drip tip, then drip into the atomizer, and then replace the drip tip. I use it just for the mouthpiece (when using both atomizers and cartomizers). The SS drip tip is very comfortable as a mouthpiece. I also bought five metal drip tips (at 99 cents each) from goodprophets and received them yesterday. They work fine (for mouthpieces and not to drip, in my case), but that SS drip tip is my favorite. Just can't justify buying five more of the SS drip tips at $7.95, though, especially since I'm using them only for the nicer, smooth "feel" in my mouth, compared to putting the top of the atomizer or cartomizer in my mouth. Think of it as a luxury item.

Most of FSUSA's juices can be ordered with your choice of PG/VG percentages. The RY4 (my favorite from FSUSA) comes only in 50/50 PG/VG, and there may be other pre-mixed liquids that can't be changed.

The choking could be caused from too much PG, I think (but I'm not an expert on that at all -- or any of this, for that matter), but it seems like too much nicotine could cause choking, too. If you smoked lights, 12mg might turn out to be just right for you (or even less mg). Or 18mg might be better. It's hard for anyone to know this until you experiment with different nicotine levels. But if you buy juices at different mg levels (like 18mg and 6mg, or 18mg and 0mg, for example), then you can mix them and have a final mixture of whatever mg you find works the best for you. I suggested 18mg and 6mg (or 0mg), because you said you choked -- and I know that anything higher than 18mg is too much nicotine for me. I smoked Merit Ultra Light 100s and will get a sore throat if I vape 24mg or higher, so I bought some 12mg juices to mix with the 18mg and 24mg juices I had previously bought. I might even buy some at less than 12mg to bring the result down to around 12 to 14mg in the future. And then possibly buy some 0mg juices to bring it down to 6 or 8mg. It would be nice to get that final mg as low as possible.

deback,
I completely agree with bringing the nic level down to zero, as that is my goal as well. I ordered all VG juice to start with and all the same nic levels!!! YIKES!!! I will order differently next time. I would like to try 80/20 at some point too, just to see what it is like. RY4 is a non menthol tobacco taste isn't it? My boyfriend may like that. I am going to try to convert him as well as my Mom and they are both non menthol smokers. (I smoke menthol lights) Funny though, I didn't order any tobacco like flavors. I spend so much time trying to kide that taste with gum, I figured why??? lol

RY4 has a combination of several flavors, like a smoky tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. I'm not sure what else, but it doesn't taste like tobacco to me. Yes, it's non-menthol, and I'm not sure if they have it available in menthol or not.

I'll mention that my friend smokes menthols (she's staying here for a couple of days), and since she arrived last night, she's been vaping the mixture that I vape all the time -- and she says she likes it enough to just vape that from now on. Last night, she tried some menthol liquid that I have (bought in early Sept at a local smoke shop, while waiting for my juice order, and that's the only bottle he had available), and she only took a couple of hits from it and has vaped my mixture of RY4, caramel, nut mix, and apple, with about 22% Glycerin added, ever since. She loves it like I do, and she's only smoked two cigarettes since yesterday at 4:00 pm. One was because I told her to go ahead and have a cig, which caused me to about gag, with a little shortness of breath immediately and a burning down my esophagus and lungs. Then she had one a couple of hours ago when she went to the store. She said the smell was terrible, and I have a feeling that will be her last cigarette.

I think if your boyfriend and Mom try vaping just once, they'll love it and will be able to quit smoking. I'm still amazed at how easy it was to quit smoking, especially since my intention when ordering the first starter kit in early September, I only did that to try it and never dreamed I'd never want to smoke again.

You've probably read here that the tobacco flavors don't taste like the tobacco we've become accustomed to with cigarettes.

Don't waste your time if your looking for something that is just plug and go then get an Ali'i custom Mod from rnrmanufacturing.com check the videos on youtube and you will see that it is plug and go. it has long battery life and you can vape forever with the 6ml bottle of juice connected to it. in the long haul it will be worth it and save you money. It's really hard to order and will probably take over a month for you to get it but take a look into I guarantee you will like it.

After you finish dripping blow GENTLY across the tip of the mouthpiece.
Do it the same way you would blow across the tip of a Coke bottle if you were trying make it whistle.
