Hi everyone!!

I picked up an ego c twist yesterday. Im using a kanger mt3 with tobacco flavor with 18mg nic. Anyways, I noticed that i'm wheezing after i vape, is this normal? Never had this issue with regular cigarettes and I smoked for 15 years.

Anyone know why I might be experiencing the wheezing? Is my technique wrong? I take really long drags on it, maybe i'm inhaling too much?

Any insight would be much appreciated!! thx

It might be a reaction to PG, but a lot of us seem to wheeze or cough at first as our stunned lungs finally wake up. I think I coughed up a bit of tar that was stamped "1987" at one point.

If it doesn't decrease in a week, or if you get throat irritation or other symptoms, I'd start suspecting a PG reaction.

I've spent the last six months chain vaping. :) It's weird, but for the first four to six weeks you wonder where you put your ashtray and lighter. Then it fades away and you don't think about it any longer as you adjust to the new manual habit.

Then you worry constantly about the charge levels of your batteries, but that's another story. :)

I had the same issue when I first vaped the Blu cigs. I did a bit of wheezing and coughing, and I was coughing up some nasty stuff. This seemed to subside after a couple of weeks. I still get some dry mouth, but I have also increased my water intake (which is a GOOD thing!). The lungs are probably healing with the transition, but as others have suggested, it may be the full VG that is causing it.

One of my favorite juices does that to me. At least I think it's the same thing. I get this whiny/wheezing sound when I breathe. Feels like my throat and lungs get some sorta mild inflammation. There's something that happens, at least, and I feel it especially when I vape while lying down. I've got several allergies, although none of them food related, but I'm thinking since I have some respiratory related allergies (I don't have asthma), that I can react to some of the things I vape. I've never noticed it with VG juices, but I've vaped some PG juices and not felt anything, so I think it could be the flavoring instead. The one that gets to me is Peach from Vapor Station. It's a delicious juice - as I said, one of my favs -, but I do get some reaction to it.

I'm guessing this could be the same with you. I've vaped for over a year now and I can still get that feeling, so it's not some sorta temporary thing for me. Also, I never smoked cigarettes, so it was never a backlash from that either :)

Drink Plenty of water, Vaping will dehydrate you.
All sorts of symptoms when quitting the cigs and starting to vape.
Coughing up crap, dry mouth, sore throat, soreness on the roof of the mouth, bleeding gums. You may or may not experience any or all of these symptoms.
Drink plenty of water, your body is healing..
