Newbie here, just sayin' hello

What's happening, My name is Aaron and I'm from Waco, TX. I've never smoked an e-cig before but I ordered a Joye 510 from litecigusa yesterday. I'm a pack and a half a day analog smoker (for now) and am tired of getting bent over with high prices. I would also love to be able to breathe, smell, and taste again. E-cigs definately seem to be for me, i'm a big time tinkerer and this forum seems to offer a wealth of knowledge for doing just that. Any advice you guys have to offer would be much appreciated, but I have done quite a bit of reading on these boards so for the most part I've got it covered.

I decided to go with tobacco flavors because I am overall happy with the taste of Marlboros (though now that they are fire safe, they're almost unsmokable). I'm not entirely closed off to more exotic flavors but I want to get my feet wet first.

Great community you guys have here, I love all the video reviews of products. Video reviews seem to be standard fare around here which I must admit is rare. I look forward to getting to know you guys. Wish me luck on my first vape which should be happening by the end of the week.

I'd like to wish you good luck with your switch to e-smoking. Please bear in mind that it is different to analog smoking and there can be teething troubles at first.

In my case, I've been analog-free for about 7 weeks and I think that initially, all the paraphenalia and do-dads helped keep my mind of analogs but now it's irritating and I am ready to graduate to my first high-end device.

The modder's forum is likely to be very useful for a tinkerer such as yourself!

I got my 510 in the mail today. I have been converted. It took a few times to get used to the taste of the camel and Kent juices, but it may have been a bad atomizer. I screwed on one of the spares and it seems better. I've been vaping all day and haven't even wanted an analog. I think I'm gonna ditch the tobacco flavor and go for some sweeter juices (if they aren't made illegal before I get around to ordering). I have no experience with other hardware, but the 510 works well. I get a nice strong hit and lots of vapor. The battery life is as bad as everyone says though, since 2pm I've gone through 5 charges; I will be buying a passthrough (will any 510 passthrough work with the Joye?). I feel like I got the right product the first time and it's all thanks to the great info I found on this board. Thanks everyone, I think I may beat anlogs yet!

The 510 is a good PV and gives good vapor for a small gig, my wife uses the 510. Get sample packs to find what flavors you like. I have found that my taste changes around from time to time, I don't think you can have too much or too much variety of juice. I enjoy vaping more than I enjoyed smoking for the last 15 years. It's like you can have good health and still satisfy your habit and the enjoyment you had from smoking.

Alright, so I need to get juice, and lots of it. I know there's alot of threads on liquid here and I've read/watched most of them and it only confused me more. I just want some liquid that tastes great, and would like to get a variety, hopefully in one shipment. So if anybody feels like recommending your favorite liquids and the appropriate vendors I would greatly appreciate it.
