So I am brand new to the world of e-cigs. What I have now is a nice cheap setup:

Kanger EVOD BCC
900mAh eGo battery
some delicious caramel candy e-juice from a local store

Okay so here's the thing, on a limited budget what would be the best next upgrade to my setup here? I was thinking a twist-type battery that allows adjustments to get a bigger hit.

Again, I am new, so corrections, opinions, rants & raves are all welcomed. I need to be schooled.

m16 clone - $16 with or a nemesis clone $30 with an 18650 sony 30A from triangle vape $7 (under $10 shipped to your door). maybe a trident clone gold or ss on fast tech, or even a cracken clone for $12 on fast tech, just don't order any batteries from there. Customs have been tied up and will hold your order wayyyyyyy to long lol. Do some research and watch some vids on youtube, you will become a great vapor in your city.

Twists and Spinners are great devices to get your feet wet in the world of variable power, but there are other good mods on the market now, with more features, that are reasonably priced.

Any device with variable power, whether it be variable voltage or variable wattage, can be adjusted to fine tune your vape. With so many choices, you might want to think about what else is important to you. For some people it's the shape (box vs tube), for others it's size, and still others want specific features or if it has replaceable batteries. If every mod you were looking at gave you a great vape, what would be the next thing you would be looking for?

Keep in mind that if you choose a device with replaceable batteries, you have to include batteries and a charger in your budget.

No matter which devices you end up being interested in, I highly suggest you browse the threads in the APV section to see what current owners are posting about them. Cheers!

I highly recommend the Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0. This was my first e-cigarette purchase upon returning the the world of vaping and you absolutely can't go wrong. It lets you vape while you're charging, uses a micro USB (smartphone) charger, has incredible battery life, and variable voltage/variable wattage. And this deal is incredible.

My MVP v1 was the only PV I owned for nearly a year, and I put it through hell, lots of drops onto hard surfaces, even dropped it in a puddle once, and it's still going strong. The only thing that ever broke was the tanks attached to it. Just a great device and comes with everything you need...but you'll eventually want more--trying out new tanks and whatnot, great starter device!

+1 on the Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 . I've been vaping for about a month now and this is what I started with. :vapor: I find the puff counter especially useful when trying out different coils on my RDAs. You really can't go wrong for $39

Great point, i hadn't thought about it before but now the answer comes pretty naturally. I think i want to stick with something pretty portable and tube-like because i like the feel of it in my hand. And for now, small works for me quite well.

I was thinking i could get something a bit larger then the 900Mah ego battery i have now for home vaping and stick with the smaller for on-the-go.

What are the pros and cons of replaceable batteries? cheaper when you do have to replace them? I appreciate your knowledge!

I have heard great things about the iTaste but i dont know if i would like the shape of it. How does it feel when you hold it? pretty well fit to the palm of your hand? I may consider it for a home vape, but on-the-go i want something that quickly slides in and out of a pocket.

puff counter huh? that sounds interesting, does it do just what it sounds like it does and give you a read out on puffs? ALSO I checked out the provided link and wondered how exactly to you adjust the voltage and wattage digital or analog?

The MVP2 is a great choice if you're comfortable with a boxy shape and don't want to invest in separate batteries and charger.

It's little brother, the Itazte VV3, is only 800 mAh, but has all the same features (VV/VW, ohm check, puff counter, etc.) in a package about the size of a Sharpie.

Puff counter, on both, is actually counting the number of times the fire button has been pressed, whether or not you take a puff :) And both reset it to zero when you power off the unit (3 clicks on these.)

Some toppers have non-removeable tips, some have removeable ones. On the latter, you can swap them out for ones that are more comfortable and/or more decorative. It's just the "mouthpiece". Toppers like the T3S have a fixed tip. Ones like the ProTank2 have changeable.

Very good info, I think maybe the Itazte VV3 that you mentioned looks very interesting. the only thing i worry about is the 880mAh battery because im already going through my 900 by dinner time. however, as an on-the-go it would be a great canidate.

thanks for the 411 on the puff counter and the tips!
