hey thanks for that link! and the info... actually found TWO new brick and mortar shops in my town, love being able to go into a place and shoot the .... with people

You're welcome. I don't think there's any place than Fla with more B&M Shops in the world
Although they're usually pricey always good to have a shop nearby in case of emergency IMO. Once drove 260 kms round trip for a $25 X 30 ml bottle of juice...and I'd do it again in a heartbeat if needed :D

A couple of things: The link that you posted is called the sigelei Zmax most other places and $70 is way too much to pay. This APV can be found for $42-$50. There are two versions that are current, the V3 and V5. They are pretty much the same except the V5 allows you to charge things like cell phones and I think it may add a puff counter. I have been using two iTaste VV V3s and while I really like them the battery is only 800mAh so you'll, most likely, need two. The MVP V2 is a big favorite around here, has a fantastic, built-in, 2600mAh battery and is a good choice. It can be found here for $40.Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape
Here are a couple of popular sites where you can find good prices.

hey thanks so much! with those links i will save like 40 bucks if i go for the zmax plus batteries and stuff, especially because of the christmas sale. I think im just going to have to go for it, i dont want to miss a sale and regret it. how is vaporworld.biz? heard anything?

ego twist doesnt disappoint me. ive read that it is just as good as any other mods out there. though i am thinking about getting an itaste because i've read good things about variable watttage. I guess I just talked myself in a circle. The twist is much cheaper and you can buy a battery for like 15 bucks if you go to the right place. I would still stand by reccomending that. but if you want to try out that vw. go for the itaste.

talking yourself in circles huh? ive been doing that for the past few hours! heck, i started this thread at 6am! lol

As a pretty recent MVP v2 owner, it is the best choice for me. It's like the john deere. It'll pull anything you put on it, it'll run till you can't run anymore, it won't quit rollin till you either take it outta gear, or it runs outta gas, and you can power your house with it while vaping...... welllllllll, maybe not that last on but.....? and for 40.00 outta the gate, how can you loose? I have NEVER read anywhere about one bein broke. anybody else?

I just got my VTR last week.
I must say I LIKE IT.
My prior mod was a SID. (I also liked the SID) Very reliable although every once in a while I would have to pull the battery because the device froze)
I like the fact that it uses 18650 batteries. Carry a spare and your golden.
Tanks tanks and tanks. I get the issue here that they all don't fit---but--- I use the protank 2, vivi nova and Iclear 30 that came with the VTR so...no issue on tank for me. I would like to try the IClear 30B down the road
The adapter is useful but i guess kinda hokey. I do use ce4s and ce6 and iclear 16 and a trident clone RBA sometimes with this adapter.
I got my VTR in green and I like the finish.
It is heavy but not to heavy. I like how short it is compared to the SID. Fits in the pockets nicely. Perfect fit in the door handle pocket in my car also.
The deal I got was on EVIL-BAY I paid $70.00 with free shipping for the VTR kit, a charger and a battery. This was by far the BEST deal anywhere so I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. I give it 2 thumbs up.
Hope this helps.

Went from cigs to ego twist with iclears. Loved them and still have 2. Saw someone holding a MVP and just had to have one. Got the MVP2 Energy in Pedals with the iclear 30d...LOVE it. Now I'm eyeballing the Provari after a poster brought up a great point about the FDA scare.

I want to go in the non-disposable direction. Next step is researching a good tank I can start learning on without much trouble to change wicks/wires. The rebuildables are very interesting but too much trouble "bang for buck" for me. I would love to be able to find a setup to tinker with though.

update: finally settled on the SIGELEI Zmax V5, super stoked. the price was nice and aesthetically it is exactly what i want at this time. plus i think it will be a great throne for the nice Kayfun clone I am looking at for my next purchase. dug an ohms meter today out of my garage so i am ready for some tinkering, got a buddy that is going to show me the ropes.
